A brief stay here, chosen from Booking.com, in early August - turned out to be a very good choice. Fast efficient check-in with Mustafa at the front desk, comfortable room, good aircon, very clean, lots of toiletries provided, exactly as needed. There is a swimming pool (small, I think) and sauna etc but I did not use. The hotel was...

Went to this hotel for 4 nights, check in was really fast, even though we arrived at 7:30 in the morning, they let us check in as soon as we arrived which was highly appreciated as we didn't have to hang around till 2 o'clock in the afternoon. It has got the perfect location. The front desk staff speak English...

It's a nice hotel in a walking distance from Hagia Sophia. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast abundant and tasty and the staff helpful and nice. The pool was a bit of a disappointment though, it would need some refreshing.

The receiptionist had excellent English and was very helpful. The rooms were a reasonable size for the location with views over the Bosphorous....

Nice, clean place in the "old town", with major sites (Aya Sophia, Grand and Spice Bazaars, tram, etc.) within walking distance. Room is a bit small (they warn you) but everything works and is clean and comfortable, staff is very friendly and helpful, and breakfast is plentiful and fresh. Roomy lobby. Has TV and pool (did not use) and free...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
