The personnel is very friendly and helpful. Price per night is reasonable. Tidy rooms, Turkish style of interior. Location is really great! Everything is close. 5 minutes walk to the tram stop and Aya Sofia. I would definitely recommend it for a couple of days stay.

This hotel is situated at a perfect location to explore the historic sites of Istanbul. Sultanhmet square is just 5 mins away ,Grand Bazaar is 10 minutes and nearest Tram station is also 5 minutes far, only (all by walk) .It is a clean cozy traditional Turkish style hotel. They have done a very good use of the space.Rooms were well lighted.Toilets were clean. There was only one toilet in a duplex (upstairs),so it can be an issue.Staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall our experience was satisfactory.

We have just returned from an excellent 5 nights in Istanbul (our 1st time) and had a wonderful stay at the Ersari Hotel. The location is fantastic being 5mins from the tram, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Aya Sofia. It's also very quiet at night which I was surprised about in such a massive city. The hotel is well decorated and has a real cosy feel to it. The staff are very friendly and helpful, teaching us some handy Turkish phrases. Our room was really nicely decorated, the bed was super comfy and the shower was great. Continental breakfast has a good selection and there is enough to satisfy most people.

This is a small cosy family-run hotel where staff are very friendly and helpful; in fact they go out of their way to help. It is situated about 6-7 mins walk away from the Blue Mosque and the tourist area. Although, I must stress, the walk up the cobbled street maybe challenging for some. Bedrooms were very clean with comfortable beds. Bathroom, with shower cubicle, was modern and very clean and in good working order. The AC was working fine. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of breads, seasonal fruit, jams etc. The lady who prepares the breakfast is always on the spot and never lets anything run out. She is very dedicated. Breakfast can be taken indoor or in the little garden area though you cannot see much out of there. All in all this is a great hotel with a

First, the location. Just 5 min walking in between Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar. The road is a bit uphill, but Istanbul is all up- and downhill, so nothing strange. The room was big enough for 2, clean, comfortable and nicely Turkish style decorated. The breakfast room has an inner courtyard as well, so you can choose if eating in or outside. The breakfast itself (Turkish way) was quite good, selection of cheese, bread and some fresh fruit. There was no yogurt. The coffee was instant Nescafé coffee (not the Turkish one) but really decent (even Italian standard!). The wifi was really working properly, never problem to connect. The reception was really caring of our needs. They call me the morning before our arrival, to check if a duble-bed room was fine (as it was in the

Super boutique hotel. Excellent service, thoughtful staff (Helen was amazing). She helped us book our trip to Pammukale and Konya from Istanbul. Rooms as advertised. Breakfast lovely especially when eaten in the garden. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Clean, safe, great location, nice staff, new hotel. The reason I booked this hotel is because it was the most reasonable hotel with 2 rooms that I could find. Unfortunately hotels in Istanbul seemed expensive. Wr were 3 adults (one couple and me) and we wanted 2 different rooms. The cheapest option was a family room with 2 bedrooms, joined by an interior staircase. I found the room to be ok but very tight and difficult to navigate. The room upstairs is very small and has the double bed (so better for a couple). It doesn't have a closet though and almost no space to put your luggage. The room downstairs has 2 single beds, a large armoir, a desk and lots of space. The bathroom is upstairs and the door opens right into the stairs going down, so be very careful where you step if

We stayed there in March 2014, sadly not the experience we were hoping for. The positive, the room was clean as was the breakfast area, but that's all the positive. The transfer from Ataturk Airport was not arranged even after a phone call to confirm it on the day from the airport, this left us at the mercy of the touts who robbed us blind. The Hotel owner blamed the new staff member who blamed the owner who eventually blamed us. They did offer to pay our return trip but no actual cash appeared - disappointing. Our room was at the top of the Hotel, its their feature room, there's a picture of it in a distant past life as their avatar - no lift no help. The room was dilapidated, drawers missing handles, door falling off the minibar, rendering falling off the walls - I do

Staff cannot be helpful enough, for example going up the road to find newspapers to stuff soaking shoes. Not the most attractive location, but superbly placed for major sights. Interior of good standard. Breakfast fine, remember to ask for an omelette if you want one; we were only offered one on the last morning. Rooms comfortably sized and clean.
