The hotel's location is both great and practical. It is right next to Taksim Square therefore the metro station. Istiklal street is close where you have access to all restaurants, cafes, and shops. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is cozy and nice. Rooms are relatively spacious. I shared a double room and it was good enough. The...

Nice breakfast, clean rooms, helpful personnel, yet a renovation is needed in certain places. Situated at Taksim square, with excellent access to the metro. Nice and very good value for money, in contrast to other similar hotels in the area

Excellent location and good hotel. The rooms with views are excellent but the best thing is the location, in front of the drop off point for airport shuttle, 1 min from the main tube station and ofcourse on taksim square which is the heart of istanbul.

The only positive thing: the hotel is near Taksim square and close to a lot of bars and restaurants, just good to explore the night life of the city. In rest, an average hotel, that doesn't deserve 4 stars!

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
