We loved our little corner room on the 5th floor. I requested a double room, but not necessarily with w view, but we got the best room and paid only 80 euros a night including breakfast. Breakfast was great. Olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, bread, cheese, meat,...More
Had a great stay at this hotel, which is in a beautifully restored old Ottoman building. Couldn't believe the quality for the price I paid. The beds were very comfortable, room and bathroom spotlessly clean, slightly on the small side but you'd expect that in...More

For someone who had not been to Istanbul in forty years, Sultan Hill was fantastic. My room was spotless, the night view from the roof top terrace incredible, and the help provided by the front desk people was beyond belief.
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
