We had travelled to Turkey many times but never Istanbul. A friend recommended the Berk Hotel and it proved to be a brilliant recommendation. We booked room 41 (at the top of the building) and also had our own balcony. The room was authentic and...More
In September 2014 we had a special few days here that still bring back the fondest of memories and we really can't wait to return! From the warmest welcome on arrival to the heartfelt goodbye, Yesim, Ahmet, Derin and the staff made our trip to...More
We specifically picked this small, fantastically located based on the reviews of the family feeling and helpful staff and were not disappointed. You can't beat this location, nor can you beat the helpfulness of the owners and staff. The price is right, it's right across...More
I'll try to be short.
I felt like a member of the family. The staff and owners are extremely dedicated. Just that was enough to make my mind on the rating I would give. Also, the location is very very good.

With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

Thank you very much for your questions about our hotel, where you plan to stay on your holiday in Istanbul.. . Our standard rooms are 10m square, en-suite.. They all have large windows to open air, take sun shine..and during the night is very quiet.. We stand right accross from the 5 Stars Four Seasons Hotel... Our street is not a premier one and the heavy city traffic is way far from us.. Only pedestrains and hotel taxies use it..I am the owner and the operator of the hotel and I live in the same buiding with my family.. Satisfaction of guests, good service and cleanliness are our major mottos..
If you have more querries please feel free to write.. I wish you a safe travel and enjoyable holiday in Istanbul
