If location is everything then you can't loose . Hanging over you is the awesome site of Masada and your room will be overlooking the Dead Sea.... be sure to get up early and watch on your balcony the sun rising over the Dead Sea .The Hostel is modern, clean and spacious with a very attractive dining room servicing the...

We stayed here recently during our trip to Israel and were very impressed! The rooms were spacious and clean. The beds were good quality and the bathrooms were nice. They separate the toilet and the shower with 2 separate doors which is great for roommates. The food was also amazing; I was shocked! Lunch and dinner were delicious. Free Wifi....

It was a comfortable stay at a decent hostel/hotel. We had a double room with private bathroom, rather spartan but clean and with a cool view. Dinner buffet was offered at an additional charge with vegetables and fresh fruits in addition to the mains. Breakfast was good with many options of food. From here one has a 15min ride to...

We stayed the night at the hostel in a private family room (1100 NIS) to hike up to Masada for the sunrise. The food was descent if a little high-school cafeteria-like. The wifi was non-functioning on 4+ devices and the front desk just said to restart your computer. Our AC also quit working at about 2 AM and the desk...

This place is a combination of a youth hostel and spartan hotel (though the prices are not cheap). There was lots of teen and young adult groups staying while we were there, but the family rooms are in a separate wing and were quiet. The room was pretty comfortable and the pool was lovely (though crowded) in the heat. We...

We loved our stay at the Massada Guest House. The room we got was more like a luxury hotel. Spotless. Spacious. Very quiet despite hundreds of kids staying there. The breakfast was excellent. The staff at reception very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

That's the monopoly variant. Because it's only one possible variant of staying near Massada. That's why it's always overbooked and overpriced. And really it isn't a hostel, it's a big (huge) hotel with a lot of groups of children and pensioners. "HI Massada Hostel" is just marketing brand because the real name is different, like "Massada Youth Hostel". We visited...

We spent a night here on our trip to the Masada ruins. It is a combined guest house and hostel depending upon the number of people in your party and the options you want. We opted for a room for two with an in-room bath. There are not many options for dining in the area so we had dinner and...
