This is an isolated hostel, located in a settlement. Each location you may want to visit will require taking a taxi. There are better options for traveling to the Dead Sea and Jericho, including: 1. Shkedi's Camplodge 2. DEAD SEA ADVENTURE HOSTEL

This is a place for someone with transport! You have to be self sufficient. Bring enough groceries, bread & milk if you come from Jerusalem side. There is a filling station about 8 kms away as well as a cafe (you pass them if you come from the Dead Sea side). We bought our stuff from the filling station. Jericho...

No markets around, no breakfast provided (which was an issue due to no shops in the area), no busses, no nothing. You need a taxi to get to the sea, you need a taxi to get to the market. You need a taxi to get to sightseeing places. Drivers that they call do not speak English by the way and...

Loved this place. Great for the Dead Sea area and also for Jerusalem. We also used it for a last night stop before driving to the airport. Very friendly and helpful owners. Within range of the baptismal site on the Jordan and also Massada plus the site where the scrolls were discovered,

It feels more like a private stay than a hotel. It is a very nice made garden house with comfortable rooms. But why we liked it so much was mainly because of the owner gave us the feeling of being really welcome. Especially when we had a big problem with our rental car the next morning, the owner has really...
