Revisiting. I was put in the sole room on the 4th floor, with no elevator, with +38C degrees outside. I guess it was supposed to be a storage room that was turned into a guest room. Of course I had no early knowledge about it...More

Surprisingly cheap, clean, and close to everything. We were surprised. We were a couple and a friend and had reservation for a room with two beds. The receptionist gave us, for the same price, a place with two rooms. There is plenty parking in the...More
We stayed one night en route to Petra and whilst the hotel was conveniently placed near the bus terminal, the cold shower at 6am (on a 7 degree morning), was not pleasant. Although clean, the rooms are a little run down but inexpensive, so nothing...More

The Motel Tsabar IS, indeed, in a good location-- close to bus station and to beach. But it offers no breakfast with lodging and, at the time of our visit, nearby restaurants were all closed for Memorial and Independence days.
Rooms are clean and spare, without views. Pool was swampy and unavailable. Hotel seems intended for beachgoers who bring their own food to Eliat. Room tip: ask for kitchenette. Staff is accommodating (They kept refrigerated supplies and luggage while we spent 2 days in Petra) Keep your expectations simple and this motel is just fine and well-priced.

"Stay away from the Fourth Floor room. Not sure about the others but they can't be as bad at that one."
