This place makes Fawlty Towers look acceptable. Rooms are not just old and tired, mine was also dirty. No facilities to speak of, just a breakfast room and three flights of very steep stairs to even get to the hotel reception. Had to wait 20 minutes to check out as the receptionist had made an error on the previous clients...

I recently stayed here with a group of 50 people and all of us would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay in Haifa, especially large groups! The beds and rooms were clean and comfortable and many of the rooms provide beautiful and unobstructed views of the city and the sea. It...

I found all of the staff more than helpful in every way during my recent visit. They went out of their way to provide service . The room was kept clean and the breakfast was fine. I will return here in the future.

Even though our reservation was cancelled, according to hotels.com, the manager went out of her way to accommodate us and help us find suitable accommodations. Hotels com left us high and dry , but the manager and staff the Dan Gardens haifa is to be praised for their customer service.

This "hotel" was chosen by our group leader who wanted to save some money. There were about 10 of us in the group. A couple managed to check in to the Dan Panorama after they saw the Dan Gardens. Unfortunately, they couldn't accommodate the rest of us. How the reputable Dan chain has anything to do with this property is...

It is a rip off ($126 per night) for what you get. the rooms were dirty and noisy. The carpets were stained, the bathrooms faulty. either the shower was broken and leaked from several places, or when I got my room changed, the pressure was down to a trickle. At first, the connecting room was so poorly insulated that I...

We were treated very nicely, the manager was very friendly and made us feel at home. We came to play a concert in Haifa. We were inspired to wake up to the magnificent view of the Mediterranean sea and the port of Haifa, breakfast was very nice and generous. We enjoyed our stay.

Went for a business trip, found the room neglected but clean. Everything seemed about 30+ years old. From the taxi, you look up several flights of uneven stone steps. There's no way to alert anyone in the hotel that help is needed - so if you're staying here, PACK LIGHT! Rooms were small - but as said before, clean, but...

This hotel is unworthy of the Dan chain (which is generally very good). It is an old building that should be renovated. But that is OK as the price was right. What is not right that it was plain dirty. You could see the accumulated dust on the curtains, the corners of the floor were full with accumulated dust, as...

“The rooms without View are cheaper, but they offer a view of the wall. It is good enough if all you intend to do is sleep in the hotel as these rooms are quitere than the ones that face the bay.”
