We were very disappointed overall in our stay particularly due to the high cost of the room. We had an Executive Room facing the street and it was incredibly loud with excessive street noise including honking horns, police sirens, and loud voices emanating into our room all night long. Very poor sound deadening windows for sure. rooms were cramped, with no luggage racks provided and when requested took up most of the open floor space unless you used the couch. The mattresses were lumpy and firm and not comfortable at all. No desk so if you needed to do any computing you had to use the tiny table, and there was no closet so they provide a clothes rack in the middle of the room-bizarre! Also, the bathroom is so cramped as it is tiny and they crammed a giant bathtub and wide open shower into the small space so you literally flood the floor of the bathroom when you shower. The sink is so large there is very little room for your toiletries, etc. They have a roof top restaurant but the food is average and expensive, and the breakfast buffet is very average and do not go on Saturday (Shabbat) as it is really bad and meager with no toaster, hot foods, cappuccino, etc. We were unfortunate to get the double whammy and have Passover after Shabbat so it was two of our three breakfasts that were terrible! Way too many religious rules in place for an international hotel with primarily tourists. The Executive Lounge is frankly a joke with again meager appetizers and limited liquor options. We also found the front desk staff to be very unhelpful and arrogant. We will not return.…

An exceptional Hotel located in the heart of Jerusalem, so convenient to the Mamilla Mall, Old City, Tower of David Museum, Western Wall and so much more. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant and the Fish restaurant are amazing. The breakfast buffet offered so many choices and was wonderful. The front desk and front office staff took such great care of me, I'm grateful. I highly recommend this hotel. A huge Thank you to the staff.

The hotel is in very high standard and the service is excellent. Especially Mario from the front desk. He was so kind, generous and gave us a warmth feeling during the whole stay. Thank you! We also really enjoyed the hotel tour with Oded, the tour guide.

In 3 days, we still missed the pool, one of the restaurants and the shop. Service was great. Location, terrific, both for ATM, for shopping and for access to Temple Mount and Gate. One of the nicest surprises was their WONDERFUL gym! It was without a doubt the best gym in any hotel on our 3+ week trip. Great equipment. Wonderful HOT steam room. And one of the best gym trainers I've ever met! Go for the gym and stay for all the history and color of Jerusalem!

We loved this hotel when we went a few years ago.. this trip was different. Positives: it has great decor and ambience and some of the staff are excellent! However the majority of the staff were poor. Lots of staff on the door chatting away while my elderly mother in law (86) struggling in and out the car each day. No one opens the door of the car or the hotel door. They clearly haven’t been trained to look after guests. Same at breakfast, it appears 1 or 2 are great and the rest haven’t got a clue how to look after guests. This is not a cheap hotel and it didn’t meet my expectations on service. I apologise to the staff that were excellent because you’re holding this place up!

I had just the best vacation at the mamilla hotel! The place is so amazing, the decorations and the type of the building is super creative, and the staff was so helpful! A sweet lady named bisan from the reception was amazing she helped me get my room earlier because i had my 4 months baby , she looked after him for like 10 mins when i had something to ! And she was all the time smiling and making everything sounds easy! The bellboy is so polite too! Amazing place !!!! Definitely coming back

I have noticed The Mamilla don’t respond to bad reviews … surely that should tell You all something! The hotel is lovely but the service, food and generally the staff is very much 3 star. It’s a real shame because it’s potentially a wonderful hotel. I could give lots of examples of how bad the service is, however, I broke my wrist the day before I arrived and writing hurts so you’ll just have to take my word for it!

Very disappointing for a 5 star hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and came in and out the hotel several times by taxi. A group of staff were invariably huddled around the outside desk and none of them moved to open the car door. Similarly reception staff were grouped chatting to each other oblivious of the guests. Monday night we wanted to enjoy pre dinner drinks. Rooftop bar shut, floor 2 bar shut for private function and when we queried this on reception they didn’t even suggest the ground floor bar. We then saw people drinking in the sitting area and realised they could have suggested that. The one positive was great bed linen and very comfy pillows.
