I spent three nights in the female dorm. The location was great, being that you're in the Old City and near shops and restaurants. It's close to Damascus gate and about a15 minute walk from Jaffa gate. It's this a bit further from the tram and other destinations in town, but if you're primarily focused on the Old City, it's...

We had a wonderful stay. We are so grateful for the lovely Christmas dinner, the conversations with the pilgrims in the evenings and how the sisters of the convert cared for us. Make sure you request half-board. The rooms are simple but we felt homelike. A very comfortable feeling. Free Wi-Fi and good breakfast. Perfect location.

This was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. A little more expensive for what you get than other hostels but very worth it, especially if you are a Christian traveller! The nuns are kind and caring. I was there for Holy week and the sisters went with me to the events and processions and checked that...

Stayed at Ecco Homo with a group in the dormitory accommodation. Individual space/cubicle is provided but some people might find some group noise eg snoring. As I knew I was in a dorm, it was no problem. Everything is spotlessly clean and the food was excellent. The most outstanding thing has to be location. It is in the Old City...

Great central location in the old city, on the via dolorosa.I stayed four wonderful nights here. The place is a convent, old, founded mid 19th C on the principles of St Ignatius to host pilgrims. From its whitestone roof top terraces the Temple Mount is within spitting distance.Staff are wonderful-,obliging,helpful and very friendly.Food a simple fare, but lovely. My room was clean and simple...

I stayed here for 3 nights in a single room and it was very nice to be in such a central location in the old city. Room was basic but I wasn't expecting anything luxurious as it is a convent after all; single rooms have a private bathroom but there is no wifi in the rooms and the air conditioning...

I rarely start like this a review but this place is fantastic. If you can stay here STAY here. The place dates from 1800s and it shows. It is amazingly preserved and everything is squeaky clean. They have managed to add features like new rooms and even an elevator but done nicely so that you do not loose the great...

Ecce Homo is a convent right in the heart of old Jerusalem. The guest are a mix of groups on residential religious study courses and people passing through, called pilgrims. The convent has an amazing location with a roof top terrace with expansive view over nearby Temple Mount and panorama of the rest of old Jerusalem. The rooms are basic...

With a view over the Temple Mount and the call of the muzarin in your ears this location cannot be beaten in Jerusalem. It was built late 19th century from rubble but is said to be placed over the Roman Praetorium where Christ was displayed to the people. Very atmospheric and the Basilica is very much used. Not for everyone...
