This must be the nicest hostel in Jerusalem. It's a special place in a special city. People from all around the world, from all kind of backgrounds, ages and mindset - Good vibration (-: There's also the nice bar upstairs, with a beautiful sitting area. There are shows, performances, and live music. The staff are one off a kind -...

This hostel is in a great location. Only a 15 min walk from the Old City but the walk is so pleasant along Jaffa Rd in New Jerusalem it's not even a problem. You can also take the tram (2-3 stops to the Old City and a little under 6 shekels). The dorms are clean and often have a mini...

Yes this place is the best to meet young people, socialise. Everyone is very welcoming! The breakfast was alright, not the best. Very basic, salads, boiled eggs and oranges. You have to wash your own dishes. We stayed in the shared dorms and in the private rooms. - If you stay in the shared dorms, you will definitely need the...

For the price its very good. The vibe is good and not as massive as the one in Tel Aviv. They have a superb breakfast in the morning, you can probably eat well enough to skip lunch and safe a few dollars. It makes this place more economical in a way.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. I spent two nights there in a single room. The room would need a make over, but it was still ok. The common area with kitchen etc. is very nice to spend an evening. From the Hostel it is a 15 to 20 Minutes walk to the Old City. The Hostel offers a...

We stayed at Abraham hostel Jerusalem for couple of days during our recent visit and its a very nice place to stay in Jerusalem. Best thing about the place is the location. It's at walking distance from the old city as well as Mahane yehuda market. Both places should be in the must do list of anyone in Jerusalem. We...

First trip to Israel with a friend that has stayed at this brand here and in Tel Aviv. My first experience in a hostel was outstanding. Walking distance from train, the Jerusalem market and of course the old city. Staff friendly and helpful. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Abraham is known as the father of monotheism and was the first backpacker in the Middle East. He journeyed throughout the lands accepting hospitality from those whose homes he came to, and extending hospitality to anyone who passed near his tent. We wish to extend Abraham's Biblical hospitality to our time. We, the staff & owners of Abraham Hostels, created our dream hostel in Jerusalem to support travelers in the Middle East. The Abraham Hostel is located in Jerusalem's city center catering for independent travelers and small groups. Our location allows for easy walking access to all major sites such as the Old City or Mahane Yehuda Market. There are plenty of public transportation options right outside to various Jerusalem sites, as well as to the international airport and other cities in Israel and the West Bank. The hostel offers daily activities and tours in our ongoing effort to encourage travelers to make new friends and new experiences. Whether it's our hostel bar, traveler's information center or chill-out rooftop, we try to provide everything an independent traveler needs when travelling in the area. For those traveling outside Jerusalem there is a special discount when staying in Abraham Hostel Tel Aviv and the Fauzi Azar Inn in Nazreth, as well as special shuttle service between all three branches. ... more   less
