The Abraham Hostel is a nice place with a great lounge, bar, breakfast room, kitchen for guests, travelers centre. The rooms are basic but good.
We walk to the Old City, but you can go by tram also. We will come back!

This hostel has the full range of demographics. Yes there are the young students wet behind the ears. There were also couples and singles in their 40s and beyond. While at the Tel Aviv hostel waiting for the shuttle to Jerusalem I saw a lady who was appeared to be in her 70s. No matter what your age, you are welcome here and will be comfortable!

From Abraham to the old city you can either walk 15-20 minutes or take the tram for 2 stations.
