Ask expats where they meet in Jerusalem for drinks and the best food, and it's the beautiful balcony at the King David Hotel. Overlooking the pool and tennis courts, and the valley beyond, it's a perfect place to enjoy your dinner and watch the sunset. Reasonable prices, professional wait staff, full menu. You'll enjoy your visit.

We stayed at the King David for Succot. The hotel has new competition, especially the recently opened Waldorf Astoria, but for me nothing can compare to the ambience, atmosphere (especially with 2 fabulous large succas), grounds (including fabulous outdoor swimming pool), service and family atmosphere of the King David. And really great food too, especially for Shabbat and yomtov. Lots...

Despite its attraction as a tourist stopover, the King David retains the elegance of its tradition. Our room, though small, was recently renovated with fine woodwork and an extremely comfortable king bed. A small balcony added to its enjoyment. The bathroom was immaculate. Service throughout the hotel was professional and very friendly. Within walking distance of the Old City and...

The King David is a beautiful historic building in the heart of Jerusalem. Its public spaces are beautiful, and the view over the walls of old city are truly awe-inspiring. Food was superb, as was the service (which never used to be great, but has recently improved significantly. Jeremy, in particular, has been extremely professional and attentive). Rooms are nice...

The food & service is great!i We had lunch on the pool deck - Hamza, Assali & Attalla were very kind and their service was excellent! We order eggplant, Hummos, chicken & schnitzel and it was delicious! If you stay at the King David I definitely recommend to have lunch at the snack bar at the pool!

A tasty and varied breakfast ,in a huge beautifully decorated Sukka. Even though the place was bursting at the seams ..the service was excellent and Head Waiter Rashid was very accommodating. Will be visiting there again.
