Greetings from the Ambassador Hotel 😊
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We are very pleased to hear that you have enjoyed your stay with us!
Looking forward to seeing you again soon.
We spent one night between July 6-7 in this hotel.
It is a pleasant hotel, with good services and good food (breakfast). The room (404) "standard" with 2 twin beds on 4th floor is not so big, but clean and nice (no balcony).

I did not use the mini-fridge and was not aware there was a shuttle. I brought home some dead sea toiletries and have yet to use them up. I especially like the dead sea soap that was in the room and brought a couple of bars home. I used the shampoo while at the hotel and it was great on my hair. There are quite a few things that can be visited nearby and are a short cab ride away. Traffic is intense, though, and traveling mid-morning or mid-afternoon is best. I was on a tour and we took a bus everywhere sometimes just to travel a few miles. The guide really made the visits meaningful with his commentary. If you want to go it alone, I would stay at a hotel like the Ambassador, which is reasonably priced, clean, well-staffed and near the old city and take one day bus tours to see the sites you are interested in. If you are visiting a museum such as the Isreali Museum, make it an all day event and take a cab. It was a $20 cab ride from the hotel. There is no need to book a taxi in advance but I would book the bus tours in advance.
