I choose this hotel off a few great and a few average reviews. First of all the location is amazing 20 metres from the Jaffa Gate in the old city and you can walk around to all the historical sites and you living inside the...More
We stayed in Jerusalem for 7 nights in total and wanted to try different hotels in different locations near the different gates of the old city. For our final 2 nights we stayed in this hotel as it was at the Jaffa gate.
We were staying at this hotel for a week. The impression we got was not so good. Just with the help of the "guy from the street" we could manage to climb up the stairs to the reception desk. We got the room (more climbing)...More

Hi - we used a shared taxi from airport (least expensive) to hotel then had tour bus drop us off to our hotel in Tel Aviv since they were going there anyway. If you do this make sure tour co knows that's what you want so they know. The shared taxi vans are right outside airport - as soon as the fill up (approx 10) they take off (about 60 shekels per) - then just get their number for future pickup times/location. FYI taxis are expensive in Israel 🤓
