Location is terrific! Hotel staff extremely helpful (Thanks Jamal!) Restaurants & shopping within 2 min walking distance & easy access to taxis. Love the Versavee restaurant & also the Petra souvenir shop 2 min around the corner. Great mall area & coffee shops just 3 minute walk down the steps of Jaffa Gate! SO Ready to return next December!

We stayed here with a group as part of a Holy Land pilgrimage. We found the hotel to be very comfortable and friendly. The downstairs lobby/bar area was really interesting. Our room on the 1st floor was lovely, but what we saw of the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms looked much less attractive. The restsurant was not the best and...

We stayed here in a very cold, snowy December. The location just inside the Jaffa Gate is excellent for exploring the Old City, and there are wonderful views over the walls to the modern city, especially in the breakfast room. Reception staff were helpful and welcoming. The rooms are not luxurious but are modern, extremely clean and comfortable and (crucially...

Feel like you are in the Middle East when you stay at the Gloria. I found the location just inside the Jaffa Gate to be perfect. You can easily walk to many attractions and wander the Old City just beyond your footsteps. The restaurant is lovely. You are near the public transportation. The staff was friendly and the rooms are...

Spent four nights in bustling Jerusalem and found this hotel to be a real gem offering a relaxed calm oasis in the old city. 1 minute from the Jaffa Gate this hotel is convenient for almost anywhere in old Jerusalem. Our family of four where part of a 15 person group and we were all roomed on the first floor....

For a smallish but incredibly atmospheric hotel the Gloria is hard to beat. It lacks the "chic" of many of the bigger hotels, but for value, location and general "feel" this is a gem. The cuisine is basic but adequate and the staff try hard to take care of things. The location inside the Jaffa Gate make it ideal for...

After staying at the Gloria, I would hate to stay again outside the Old City. The location just inside the Jaffa Gate is amazing. It is an easy walk to anything in the Old City--whether shopping or a visit the western wall. We started three of our tour days by walking to sites in the Old City. It is easily...

The Gloria Hotel is IT in the Christian Quarter if you are looking for: 1) Safe and convenient setting - right inside the Jaffa Gate 2) Friendly staff 3) Clean and well appointed rooms! A good and varied breakfast too.

Great place, especially if you like a bathtub! Requested a room with a balcony. It opens on a terrace. Newly redone, cozy but quite nice. Very convenient to Jaffa gate . Great breakfast. No complaints.

Hotel is perfectly positioned to see Jerusalem on foot. Friendly, helpful staff make you feel welcome. The hotel building itself is full of character, and not a standard clinical hotel like all the others.
