Pros: Very nice location, right in the middle of lots of shops, restaurants, hotels. By the end of our stay, Antwan and his (additional two-person staff) had grown on us and we appreciated their efforts to help us when we had questions or needed information. On our first tour day, after commenting on the fact that we would miss our daily breakfasts (see cons), they provided a very large boxed meal for all three of us ... greatly appreciated. They also assisted in booking us a taxi to the airport on our last day. Cons: Upon arrival to the hotel, we had to wait about 45 minutes to an hour to be "checked in". There was no one at the 'front desk'. There is a sign on the counter (laying flat so not immediately noticed) stating they "will be right back" and to call the number listed. After travelling 24 hours and being extremely tired, this was a disappointment and not a very good first impression. After being there several days, we learned that this is standard and did not only happen to us. There is not someone from staff on-site at all times. There is not Breakfast is NOT included at this hotel. We were told that our breakfast would be included and when we asked about this and informed the staff that our hotel fee included breakfast on our itinerary, we were then told that we could walk over to the Lev Yerushalayim hotel and have breakfast there (after they called to okay it w/them). Lev Yerushalayim is about a 5-minute brisk walk; we then spent at least five minutes looking for the entrance to the hotel, to which someone finally pointed out. Due to the timing of our daily tours, we could only eat breakfast at this hotel on one morning due to their hours of service (tour bus pick-up was prior to start of breakfast service). The shower itself was fine, however, each time one of us showered, water would leak out from underneath the shower door and we would have to use numerous towels each time to soak up the water that was all over the floor. This caused us to need additional towels every day. Photos on Tripadvisor DO NOT MATCH reality of the hotel rooms.…
We had a great stay here, We loved the central location, how close to the center it is. The staff were extremely kind and facilitating to our requests. We spent a few nights here and enjoyed the quiet and the cleanliness! Would recommend
Room 75 had a fridge with so much frost we couldn't fit anything in it. We were told someone would come fix it or replace it but they never did. The sofa had a piece of plywood under the cushions so it felt like you were sitting on the floor. The rugs were so dirty we never took our shoes off It was very convenient to a lot of things we wanted to see. That's the only good thing about out 7 night stay in Sept, 2019
This is a very good hotel, situated close to the Old Jerusalem and Ben Yehuda centre. Our apartment was very quiet and had all the facilities. Staff were very nice and helpful, especially that I had an accident and sprained my ankle. Down the road there is a restaurant named The Focaccia where they serve pizza and traditional local food at very good prices. We ended up going there most of the time when we came back from very long day trips. Also, the hotel is well known and the trip tours do pick up from this hotel which is a bonus.
Stayed here for two nights it is nice. The room is large with a sitting area and balcony and bar. Some people gave mixed reviews. The place can you some TLC but you are not going to get better with this location for the price. FYI. No parking. TripAdvisor and Google list parking as an amenity there is no parking. The reception can recommend a place a few blocks away. I would stay here again
