We stayed at this hotel in November 2016. We were part of a tour group, and so it was their choice. It was very accessible to the Herod and Damascus gates into the old city. The streets around the hotel were very busy during the day, but quiet at night. This hotel is in East Jerusalem--the Palestinian part of the... More

Everything was amazing, only one thing I didn't love was the neighborhood. Not much in eateries and regular types of shops. With that said the room was lovely, and really nice linens. Very clean and comfy beds. The breakfast was PHENOMENAL and the restaurant on site serves really amazing meals. The staff was very helpful and courteous.- Loved the little... More

The National Hotel was in a good location, not too far from the walled city of Jerusalem and walkable from the Mount of Olives and the Garden of Gethsemenau The room was adequate, clean and quiet. This hotel, probably because of its location seemed popular with groups. The buffet in the ground floor restaurant looked tired, but the a la... More

Sad to say that I wish we hadn't booked this hotel. Things didn't get off to a good start when the hotel failed to send the car to collect us from the airport as arranged leaving us stranded and having to get a taxi. To compound matters when we got to the hotel the member of staff on reception was... More

I loved this hotel! First of all, I was greeted by the fabulous Nirvana at the front desk. I have travelled to close to 50 countries, and I have to say that the service from Nirvana ranks in my best of the best list. She let me check in early, she helped me with directions and gave me great advice.... More

My family and I recently stayed at the National Hotel in Jerusalem. It was such a fantastic stay! The staff at the front desk was friendly and obliging. They were prompt in addressing any concerns we had, and were kind enough to give me a post card from their postcard selection that I had been admiring, upon checkout. Our rooms... More

Great hotel. Friendly, helpful service everywhere in the hotel. The National Hotel has an awesome breakfast -- best humous we have ever eaten. Great omelets and buffet was full of good foods. Nice venue for an afternoon coffee on the 4th floor. Dinners there good too -- particularly like the chicken fookahara (not sure of spelling). Salads are huge so... More

I stayed here for 5 days from Sept. 23rd and had a nice enough stay here. I was a bit disappointed with having 2 single beds put together to constitute a double, but apart from that, everything was fine. I was impressed with the breakfast buffet spread which was included in my room rate. They have a nice ice cream... More
