We were booked in for 5 days but left after the first night. The whole place looked old and tired and the food was barely edible. The bread was almost stale and although the staff were very friendly and welcoming it could not compensate for the poor surroundings. The carpets are all stained and the whole place needs a refurb.The...

Stayed here twice based on good reviews. Was a bit disappointed as rooms are very average. There is no seating area except a small sofa next to the reception. Positives are the location near the old city and friendly staff.

Rooms are nice, there's a kettle but no cups and no tea or coffee. Lobby is lovely. Carpets on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors need to be replaced, like two yeas ago. Front desk staff are very good. Don't book on the 3rd floor as restaurant is right above and its noisy. The man in the car park at the...

We stayed at the National Hotel on a recent visit to Jerusalem. Location is excellent for sightseeing - only 5-10 mins walk from the Damascus Gate. Staff were helpful and obliging. Breakfast was excellent and in a great restaurant with a view over East Jerusalem. The rooms were adequate - fairly modern with comfortable beds. From a negative perspective the...

We would have never expected in a 4 stars hotel to see a cockroach/beetle running on the basin of the bathroom!Tough they changed immediately the room upgrading it.The hotel in general doesn't seem so clean. Almost all plugs in the room didn't work. In the bathroom there wasn't any plug at all. One day there wasn't hot water. Breakfast was...

I have visited jerusalem twice and in totql I stayes for almost 6 weeks. On both occassions I used this hotel. It is fantastic with great service. The rooms are top notch and the air conditioning is excellent. The cleaners are polite and efficient. It is close to: restaurants, money exchanges, takeaways, desert shops, laundry shops, general goods stores and...

In a vibrant Arab neighborhood, walking distance to old city. Staff was very helpful. Free parking - you drive in the back and it seems shady, a guy is waiting and takes your keys, but we had good experience with it. Breakfast was great, Mediterranean style with great hummus. Rooms could be a bit cleaner, but it works

Maybe I have high expectation for hotels due to other experiences during my business trips but this hotel is far the worst. Staff were friendly but hardly anything in the hotel worked. The elevator didn't work at times, the toilet would not flush, and the parking lot is dangerous. Only the front counter person could speak some English but other...

I stayed one week with my family at this family owned hotel. The staff spoke excellent English and very extremely helpful. The hotel is very modern and well decorated. Chef Azeem laid excellent buffet for breakfast and dinner. The food was well cooked, tasty and wide range of choice for both old and young. The rooms were well decorated and...

I stayed at the National Hotel on a recent trip to Jerusalem with a large group. Whilst the hotel was fine and had no major issues, the distance from the hotel to Al Aqsa was a bit too far. it took approx. 15-20 minutes to walk there in light traffic but a lot longer when there were more people about....
