This was our second stay at the National Hotel and we hope to return there in the future. Our room was clean and comfortable and had all the facilities that we needed. The staff were all very friendly and kind and helped us to make the most of our stay. Despite the friction in Jerusalem at the time of our...

This hotel is located in the heart of Jerusalem. Close to everything. It is one of the first hotels in Jerusalem but has been recently renovated to great standards but managed to keep the nice old touch. I like the place and especially the breakfast. Some of the rooms could be noisy so make sure you get rooms off the...

I stayed here for four nights and had an amazing time. The hotel is well-located in East Jerusalem and is surrounded with restaurants, both cheap-eats (e.g. shawarma places) and more formal dining options. The hotel restaurant itself is lovely as well; breakfast was delicious and the service was top notch. The staff in the hotel are wonderful; they are attentive,...

This hotel is in a part of Jerusalem that leaves much to be desired. The streets around the hotel are filthy (trash and dirty drain water standing) and it's in a noisy area with a lot of after hours activity. The hotel itself is fairly decent with a very courteous front desk. The size of the room is fair, and...

We've booked the hotel via tripadvisor --> hotels.com, it was - compared to other offers - quite cheap and it is very well located, about a 5 min walk to the herods gate and about 10 min walk to the damascus gate, so you can walk into the old city. We arrived with a car and parking (free for guests,...

From the first moment I entered the hotel I felt at home. From the owner Osama - and Assistant Managing Director Nirvana - and all the staff on the reception desk were all so very helpful and went beyond the call of duty. They see the human first, not the shekels. The restaurant waiters were so pleasant and efficient. I...

We stayed here for 2 weeks and I have to say it was the friendliest hotel I have stayed in for a long longe time. Nothing was too much trouble from the top down. Or the other way around. Sam the owner would serve you breakfast. Nirvana the receptionist is a great ambassador not only for the hotel but Jerusalem....

The Hotel is located in East Jerusalem, 10 minutes walk into the historical Center. The only positive experience in the Hotel was a young and very professional Lady at the Front Desk. The Room was ok. The air conditioner old and dirty. Bathroom ok. Television existed but no Channels, except Al Jazeera and Dubai 1. No Radio . Breakfast was...

This hotel and surrounding neighborhood is perfectly safe even though it is located in a predominately Muslim area. I booked this hotel after reviewing its website and Trip Advosor reviews. I found the website to be full of misrepresentations. For example, the comfortable double bed is actually two twin beds with twin sheets shoved together. Instead of 43 tv channels...

This hotel is steeped in the Arab history of East Jerusalem. It is well known that senior members of the Palestinian elite and diplomats and kings have stayed and dined here during its long history. Yes it is a bit run down compared to its heyday in the 50s and 60s but nevertheless this is still fundamentally a very good...
