The Hotel is located in East Jerusalem, 10 minutes walk into the historical Center. The only positive experience in the Hotel was a young and very professional Lady at the Front Desk. The Room was ok. The air conditioner old and dirty. Bathroom ok. Television existed but no Channels, except Al Jazeera and Dubai 1. No Radio . Breakfast was...

This hotel and surrounding neighborhood is perfectly safe even though it is located in a predominately Muslim area. I booked this hotel after reviewing its website and Trip Advosor reviews. I found the website to be full of misrepresentations. For example, the comfortable double bed is actually two twin beds with twin sheets shoved together. Instead of 43 tv channels...

This hotel is steeped in the Arab history of East Jerusalem. It is well known that senior members of the Palestinian elite and diplomats and kings have stayed and dined here during its long history. Yes it is a bit run down compared to its heyday in the 50s and 60s but nevertheless this is still fundamentally a very good...

The hotel is located in East Jerusalem in a quiet street. It is very spacious and clean with tasty design and most of all: the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever met! The room was great with very good beds and a nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet offered a large variety and you can sit on the terrace...

The welcoming staff is so nice, they will do their best to help you and to provide you advices. They all speak english and arabic. The room was better than I thought in terms of quality and equipment. The hotel is located near the Damascus gate (10 mins) in the arabic area of the city. So if you looking for...

First off this hotel is located in the Arab part of town. We didn’t know but it wasn’t an issue for us anyway. It may appear to be in the shady side of town but that’s just how it is. Check in was easy and the staff was friendly and courteous. Lobby was nice and clean. Our room was on...

The hotel was booked as a last minute trip to Jerusalem. It's in the Arab side of town, so the vibe is definitely Eastern. The staff was incredibly courteous, the checkin process smooth and we could leave our car there for the whole of the next day whilst we visited the city. The room was a bit old, with the...

Check in/check out was fine. Bathroom was a bit dim but serviceable, though the shower needed cleaning. Bed was large and comfortable, and the A/C really helped counter the heat and humidity. Except for the cockroach that appeared in the night, it was a solid 4 stars.

We stayed at the National hotel in late July 2015. We are a young couple from the US and were expecting a four star experience based on the reviews and stars on the Trip Advisor site. Nothing could be further from the truth. The hotel is in a terrible and extremely unsafe part of town. No cab drivers would take...

First time in Jerusalem and decided to stay in the east side. This hotel is conveniently located to the Old City (Herod's and Damascus Gates); walking takes about 10 minutes max to get there. Our room was quite large (as was the bathroom), and we had no issues whatsoever with noise. The water in the shower was hot! The staff...
