Good location (we walked from the Old City to the hotel); helpful front desk; First Station with lots of food choices close by; good 5-person attic with mulitple "rooms" with 4 beds. WE had easy free parking for our hired car a few minutes from the hotel

My husband and I stayed at A little House in the Colony for five days when we visited Jerusalem. This property is a mixed bag - the location was great within walking distance of most attractions, the hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel, however, is very bare bones. It has none of the amenities...

This hotel has the potential to provide a good option for some people. The hotel is superbly located and the rooms are reasonably clear. However, some of the rooms have NO windows. I am surprised this is even legal. There is even a room sitting basically inside the hotel dining room. That means one wakes up with breakfast preparations at 5:30am....

I had a wonderful experience in this hotel. Kosher breakfast is delicious and very abundant, with all sorts of things, including many different salads; fresh cheese, eggs humus and potatoes in particular were excellent. The room was nice and clean with tv and telephone and air conditioning. I came here alone 3 times in a row in a month because one...

This is nestled next to a movie theater in a great neighborhood. It can be a little loud until the movies end, depending on where your room is situated. It's small and friendly. Rooms are fairly basic but pricing is much better than equivalent hotels, and the location cant be beat.

Very basic hotel, no lobby, lots of stairs, no one to help with your bags, front desk staff was unable to help me with driving directions or buses. The best thing was the location, which was great for the walking trails.

A pleasant stay, reasonably priced with welcoming and helpful staff. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean. Some areas need a bit of maintenance, but did not spoil our stay. Breakfasts were good, but breakfast area (conservatory) was rather cold in January!

It was exactly 2 years ago that I stayed and reviewed this small Jerusalem hotel under the title: "Upgrade needed!". Two years on, I revisited this small, quaint hotel, nestled in a small avenue off the busy Emek Refaim Street. Well, the upgrade is definitely made a difference. The place looks fresh and the rooms have been refurbished. It has...

It might need to be refurbished, but the age of the place is also its charm. You're not going to get giant rooms, but you do get modern amenities, including WiFi, AC, etc. Very helpful desk personnel, a very good breakfast buffet. Couldn't really ask for anything more. Was about a 20 walk to the Old City, which wasn't horrible.
