The Florentine district is in the middle: between deterioration and renewal: it's an "artist" district which is a nice term for the the bit of a sketchy area. The hotel rooms are comfortable but like the neighborhood, suffers a bit from neglect. The tiny check in area is often not personed. If you leave your bags there for the day, note that depending on the time you pick them up, you may have a wait to someone to respond to your call and then get back to the hotel.

Very clean,central hotel only 20minutes from the beach by walking.Very helpful,friendly and kind staff.Reasonable prices if you are aware the hotel prices are so high in Tel Aviv. Area is very safe and there are many supermarkets,restaurants nearby.Thank you very much.

Do not book a room in this hotel! The pictures on the website do not correspond with the reality. When we arrived and saw the room (superior bedroom that was actually a very small dark room), we asked to cancel our reservation and to get our money back. The owner of the hotel replied that he would not accept our cancellation until the room would be booked to other people (which meant that we wouldn't get our money back if the room would not be booked by other people). We didn't agree with this proposal upon which he became very rude and agressive. Things got out of hand, he started yelling and insulting us and threw us out the hotel with the promiss that we would never see our money back. We have a lot of experience with airbnb and booking.com but we never experienced something like this. He never accepted our cancellation but fortunately booking.com transferred us the money back. I see as my obligation to warn other people for this host.…

Dear who ever you are... Its very hard to response to a review when you do not know who is behind it. Name and dates can be helpful to replay. In any case and what makes me feel that this is not the full story of what happen, just to let you know once you made a reservation on booking.com you are his customer and all change or cancellation has to be apply to booking.com and not to the hotel directly. The hotel has no authorization to cancels booking.com reservation without getting their o.k in writing. Thats why this story look like someone made it up for the reason he choose to. Sorry but i do not recall something like that in our hotel. Best regards

Simple but very nice decoration and ingenious , very good to have small attentions like espresso machine coffee or wine bottle , welcome staff is very professional and friendly, good advises , it’s very appreciated to find the lugages in the room when we comme back afternoon because room was not ready on morning at arrival , good location, I recommend
