The Lighthouse, located at the very heart of Tel Aviv, just a block away from the Mediterranean Sea, was softly opened on August 2018. The 180-room hotel features a range of high-style amenities, two bar/lounges, and a sprawling rooftop with an active line of events. The Lighthouse is a source of energy and light in an revitalizing corner of Tel Aviv. Accommodations at The Lighthouse range from 22-27 square-meters, making them much more spacious than the average city room. Twelve terrace rooms offer expansive balconies with outdoor jacuzzis. Other rooms offer obstruction-free vistas of the Mediterranean Sea coastline, which is less than a meter away, while Urban-facing rooms feature the best panoramic city views in Tel Aviv.

The hotel is a basic old feeling, moderately clean hotel. Certainly not an upscale hotel. Although we booked an executive room, It felt very small and dark. It is a question of expectation. I booked an expensive boutique hotel for a weekend with the wife and received a basic 3 star hotel for teenagers. This is my first, last, and one time too much at the lighthouse, much better choices around.

We took the terrace room with the hot tub and sunbeds. Unfortunately, there is not much privacy as there is a direct line of sight between all the neighbors in the adjacent rooms, despite a chainlink fence between the terraces. Other than that, the hot tub is delightful, the view is not so much. The room is nice, clean and comfy, lovely designed.Bed and sheets were clean and comfortable. Disappointingly, the rooftop bar has been closed since Mar 2020 and never reopened, and this little detail was not mentioned on hotel website/Booking. We did not take breakfast (110 NIS per person) so cannot comment. Parking is not available and the nearby lots are quite costly. Bathroom is clean and well kept, nicely designed.

We came to the hotel, with a reservation we made a month ago and they wouldn’t let us in, they asked us for our personal information about whether we got the COVID vaccine or not and we didn’t want to answer. the front desk manager treat us in a very bad way. We will never go back there.

Dear danitd2014 It is a shame that you address the hotel, your unwillingness to apply to the Israeli Health Ministry strict regulations. The Lighthouse by Brown Hotels is commited to keep its guests health as well as its employees, as a first priority, and is acting according to the applicable government laws and regulations. Kind regards Guests Relation Manager.

Spent a night at the lighthouse hotel. I’ll start with the good things: the hotel staff were really nice, helpful and friendly and the Breakfast was very tasty. I Had a City view room which was a bit too loud and the toilets are very noisy (we heard every time someone else flushed their toilet).

the room is way too small for its price! you can barely move in it (not to talk about finding a place for your stuff). and they sell you that there's a Jacuzzi on the terrace but they won't tell you that the people sitting outside drinking and eating will be sitting RIGHT NEXT TO YOU!
