Got upgraded to the suite from privilege sea-view room upon arrival - nice surprise. Room came with complimentary wine, chocolate, and free minibar, jetted tub, big patio and great views of city (including from the bath, with free view of Iron Dome successfully in action ;-)) and ocean. Lots of free facilities to use (gym, steam room etc.), including a...

With Mercure Tel Aviv as base it easy to to explore the whole of Israel (except Eilat area maybe). We travelled by car (from the hotel garage) to Haifa (parachuting), we went to Jerusalem Old Town, Jaffa and the Dead Sea including camel riding. The Mercure Tel-Aviv is well situated near the beach and central to the town. The room is neat and agreeable, clean with all you need for a short stay. Breakfast is enjoyable. The hotel staff is very friendly, you can get all the information you want for Tel-Aviv and surroundings or travel possibilities.

Great hotel! Good connection to the beach (5 Min.). Good breakfast. Nice people and overall good service. Restaurants and shops are in the same street and some are open also on sabbat. Tel Aviv is very beautiful and safe and a good point to start traveling around israel (e.g. via bus tours - pick-up in front of the hotel).

The free minibar is a joke , you have 1 beer, 1 water, 1 coke, 1 juice, that's it till next day. The service...
