This is an isolated hostel, located in a settlement. Each location you may want to visit will require taking a taxi. There are better options for traveling to the Dead Sea and Jericho, including: 1. Shkedi's Camplodge 2. DEAD SEA ADVENTURE HOSTEL

This is a place for someone with transport! You have to be self sufficient. Bring enough groceries, bread & milk if you come from Jerusalem side. There is a filling station about 8 kms away as well as a cafe (you pass them if you come from the Dead Sea side). We bought our stuff from the filling station. Jericho Inn is a place to spend a night or two if you want to visit St.Georges, Qasr El Yahud, Dead Sea (Iris gives you a discount voucher to go to the private beach where you can cover yourself in the mud), Kumran, En Gedi & Masada. Petrol to travel from here worked out cheaper for us than the other sleeping facilities (we eere here during Sukkot). The rooms are large, the garden open and neat with tables on the patio where you can eat. Iris will do your washing and return the clean clothes the next day at a minimal fee.

No markets around, no breakfast provided (which was an issue due to no shops in the area), no busses, no nothing. You need a taxi to get to the sea, you need a taxi to get to the market. You need a taxi to get to sightseeing places. Drivers that they call do not speak English by the way and involve you in tedious business with the guides-interpreters, which after all cost you a penny. You need to be extremely rich to pay for all that, or hire a car while traveling (which also - you know - cost). As a gem for the last night they (hosts) decided it'd be nice to have a party with their friends in the yard after midnight. Just nice. People, there are cheaper and nicer places to stay in Jericho (the city itself).

We were here with three boys and two adults. The place is very nice clean in a very nice neightbourhood. The jericho inn Hans not a swimming pool with within 5 minuts walk there is one. We use the jericho inn to visit the death Sea and jericho. The owner is very nice and is willing to help you If you have any questions. AT the supermarket we forget oil and the owners gave a small bottle and Some fruit. Als for the discount voucher for the swimming pool AT the death Sea. Greeting from the vries family from Holland.

Jericho Inn is located in a kibutz Vered Jericho between Jericho and the north part of Dead Sea. The value is good. There´s a swimming pool in the village what is really good. The owner of Jericho Inn was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious with a kitchen and nice seating in a garden. All this accommodation has very family atmosphere. The room was also well cleaned but unfortunately there were many cockroaches. We thought they might be coming from a hole behind the toilet it´s such a stupid thing that can be fixed and maybe it will help to avoid to have cockroaches in the room. Wifi works perfectly.
