I was with my daughter and her husband as well as with my husband. We were coming from the north part of Israel after Shabbat ended. We needed to be in Tel Aviv in the next morning as we had a morning flight. We didn't want to spend a lot of money and the location of the hotel was perfect. We got to the hotel around 11pm - we booked 2 rooms earlier that day and it showed they had the availability. When we arrived the reception wasn't initially very nice to us. We asked about parking in the area and the reception was not very nice or helpful as to where we could park! We were given room keys - we went to the rooms and both rooms were not made up! Then we were given new rooms and new keys and 1 room was satisfactory, the room my husband and I got was totally disgusting - my husband went to shower - no soap, shampoo, conditioner anything! the shower didn't even work. Back down to the front desk we went to get yet another room! Finally room #3 was satisfactory. Again no toiletries for the shower - the room had a fridge which I thought I'd put our bottle of water in but when I opened it up I almost threw up from the stench! We did not use the fridge needless to say. In the end we only slept there for a short time but I would not give this a favorable recommendation - the only 2 good things was the location and the breakfast was good. If you're desperate it is acceptable other than that - as the expression goes 'You get what you pay for"! Not a satisfied customer.…
We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour. We would. It choose this place ourselves...rooms just clean and the food was OK, although the first night our dinner consisted of 2 rolls and a bottle of water as part of half board not a great welcome. Beds were ok but located on a very noisy road.
The location of this hotel is ideal - a block away from Gordon Beach and very close to Dizengoff strip with the restaurants and bars. Stunning views from our 9th floor room. The room was large and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable and everything was clean. The hotel itself is in need of a serious renovation, including the lifts. Breakfast is excellent and there is a great selection of breads, cooked eggs, shakshuka, all kinds of fruits, vegetables and spreads. All in all it us a good option if you intend to spend most of your time exploring the city or touring and only spending the time at the hotel overnight.
By USA standards it would be a 2.5 star hotel ina central lication. Clean room with a comfortable bed clean bathroom and a tv I could not use. The breakfast is plentiful with rolls, croissants, meats, fruit and cereal. The coffee is only bad instant coffee. Large lobby with a generally helpful staff.
If you don't want to spend so much money and you want to stay close to the beach, this is the hotel. Rooms very clean and very good breakfast The staff is very helpfull. The hotel is also close to a main avenue with bistro, restaurants
