Enjoyed weekend with my wife. Vaccine proof is must and face mask obligatory. Good food and nice welcome. Due to situation the menu is limited but there is still plenty of options. Room was large with nice sea view.
We had a pleasant stay at Hilton, even though we were only 20 guests in the hotel, nice clean spacious room, very comfortable bed, at the 12th floor. It was a pity that the pool Executive lounge and spa were closed for covid reasons. We had a little trouble entering the hotel as the door was closed at all times, and you should knock so that someone could come and let you in. On Saturday there was a nice Romanian speaking lady at the reception, very thoughtful and welcoming! Hope to come back at better times!
Stayed here with my wife for five leisure nights on holiday. I must say, we were disappointed. I arrived in Tel Aviv airport at 530am. The previous day, I called the hotel and arranged to have a private car service waiting for us at the airport to bring us to hotel. I gave the hotel representative my flight arrival information and contact info. When we cleared customs and walked to transportation area, no one was waiting to greet us and bring us to hotel. I called hotel and said they had no information regarding my hotel transfer which made me mad, it was 6am and we were tired. We took a taxi. The second morning I received an invoice under my door to my guest room. Included in the invoice was a ridiculous charge for transportation from the airport to the hotel, the transportation that was not provided. I called down to speak to the manager and the manager took my information and promised to get back to me. The manager told me they spoke to the transportation service and they confirmed that picked me up and brought me to the hotel, well that’s impossible. I told the manager they should look at the hotel surveillance and they can easy see I arrived at the hotel minutes before my checkin, in a taxi cab. I fought with em over the next two days trying to have the charge revived, they eventually removed it, I should not have to go thru this and it’s unacceptable. Hotel concierge was basically not very good, even through he had those fancy key buttons on. I’ve had much better concierges and he was not very helpful in assisting me get a rental car. All in all the location is nice and rooms were fine with nice views. The staff was horrendous, not very friendly in any outlet, especially reception. I met one hotel employee in the sushi restaurant, a blond woman from Russia, can’t remember her name but she was exceptional. Bad hotel, I’ll never stay again.…
Since we cannot fly anywhere, and getting outta town in this heat involves long drives, we decided to go to our favorite Tel Aviv hotel, for merely one weekend. And it was the best decision. Some pool time, some beach time, great food, and the best part - great ocean view. The Hilton Tel Aviv is located on a hill overlooking the Mediterranean, and one cannot get enough of that view. You both wake up and go to sleep with the ocean and the city rooftops at your feet. Our room was on the 11th floor, and so the view was nothing short of spectacular. The seawater pool was merely empty and so it felt like an almost private getaway. We got to fight the heat by swimming in the water and enjoying yet again the wonderful sea view. The pool bar being open, we got to enjoy some wonderful cocktails and chilled wine while the kids could enjoy some ice cream. The walk to the beach, being lengthier due to Covid-19 regulations was still a marvel as one needs to cross the lawn leading down to the ocean. And the marina being a short stroll away as well offered great local fish cuisine for dinner. As for breakfast, the great selection the Hilton buffet is known for remained intact despite corona regulations and our table was filled with everything from pancakes to a variety of bread, fish, cheeses and salads. All in all, it was a great break from the tension filled routine.…
We celebrated our 49th wedding anniversary at this Hilton during the Covid-19 pandemic and only a couple dozen people were staying at the hotel at the time. Though this hotel was hurting economically, we were treated like royalty. They went out of their way to make our stay safe as well as enjoyable. They even gave us a complimentary upgrade. We would highly recommend this hotel and can't wait for another occasion to stay there.
