We spent only a night there but it was good. The view was a beachfront, the breakfast was good, room was nice with espresso machine in it. With full capacity i think that the pool area will be crowded, and the fact that you can't get food on Saturday around the pool can be a bummer.
Much about this hotel screams 1960s, but not necessarily in a bad way. The rooms are big and the one we stayed in was huge. Old-style radio piped into the bathroom and "classic" phone in there as well. Th only real downside to the classic look is that it is very dark by modern standards. The breakfast buffet is one of the best anywhere, and is worth the stay by itself. We also paid extra to have access to the lounge where there were drinks and food available eery day. It was nice to be able to unwind after a long day of sightseeing with a drink and a nosh overlooking the Tel-Aviv beach. The only real downside to us was that is was farther north than most of what we wanted to see, but that meant we got a lot of walking exercise which was not really all that bad. On location alone we might stay at their other hotel the Dan Panorama next time we visit, but only if the amenities are as good. Definitely consider staying here. We stayed for 10 days and are so happy we did.…
I stayed in this hotel twice for business. According to the website , the rooms are renovated, bright and airy. The rooms my colleagues and I were assigned were dark, run down with worn out carpets, dented furniture, Heavy, dirty drapes, a musty smell. One colleague even had a roach in his room. Even though the hotel was basically empty, the hotel staff was unwilling to give us a decent, renovated room. This hotel, which has a fabulous location, is in dire need of a renovation. I’d rather have fewer amenities in my room but a fresh, clean look! The front desk staff could adopt a friendlier, more cooperative attitude!
Window in room opens less than 2 inches. Rooms ate dirty and dated. Old carpet linens, and furniture .Rude front TVdesk staff. Many nicer hotels located within minutes. This hotel doesn't deserve any star ratings
We only stayed one night, but I wish it could of been longer. Wonderful room, friendly, helpful staff and great location. It was fun to walk in the lobby and just see the names of the past guests of note written on the floor. You are only a two minute walk to the sea and the great beaches. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance.
