So after 30 years of traveling, and seeing the nicer hotels in the world, I never got to see the Dan as it cancelled my reservation on my way there from airport. Supposedly overbooked. Never heard of such a thing.

This place was disgusting dirty with black crud or mold around the pool. Umbrellas were torn and broken and there was litter everywhere. No maintenance of the hotel along with a lack of towels at pool or in the room.

The hotel is one of Israel 's best adress. Great location, large room and an exquisite cuisine, especially the pâtissiers. But, the interior is outdated, very much stuck in the 80ies and service could be better, please make it Israel''s Best again!

We have regularly visited this hotel and if you like old fashioned good quality friendly service then this is the hotel for you. The views of the sea are amazing and it is very central to both the city and Jaffa Port. Well worth a stay!

Hotel a little beyond its prime, but built before Israel realised that visitors like balconies, so there are very few. It has a long history, but somehow although busy didn't seem to be full. Service, very pleasant and well-meaning, and everyone was very helpful - but quite often it was necessary to ask, make oneself visible, as otherwise the service...

This is a great hotel right on the beach in Tel Aviv. The service is impeccable -- many of the staff called us by name and everyone was very gracious in providing help and advice. The breakfast buffet is outstanding and is included. This is the place to stay in Tel Aviv!

Brilliant service, appointments in room are old style but comfortable. Cleanliness was good however it's time to change and refresh the bed throws and the furnishings as well as the carpet. They are a bit old and tired. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. The parking however is another story. For a 5* hotel...

The hotel has many pluses. The food , both at breakfast and Saturday dinner and lunch was superb. The service at the meals was excellent and improved from my last visit. The issue is the booking/reception. We were a party with four rooms. We needed two single rooms with interconnecting doors, a family room and a double. The interconnecting doors...
