First, allow me to explain why I chose this hotel for my solo trip to Tel Aviv. The hotel's location was what initially drew me in, as well as the many positive reviews. Although I recognise it is very challenging to satisfy every single guest. I had the good fortune to check in at around midnight after meeting Ahmed Mashharawi, the hotel's night manager on duty, thanks to my very late arrival in the city. Even though I haven't started the check-in process yet, Ahmed's wide smile instantly makes me feel at home. However, the rest of my experience has left me very impressed with the staff's professionalism in handling all of the issues that came up during my stay and in answering all of my questions about the hotel's amenities and services. He even offered me a small snack when I mentioned that I was hungry as not having my dinner yet. I had no idea Ahmed would continue to help me throughout the three-day trip on the same level (and probably even better); he gave me a tonne of advice on where to go, where to eat, what to ask for at the hotel, and other things. No matter how many stars this hotel has, Ahmed can still add the extras to make it truly a five-star establishment. As an academic doctor, I travel frequently throughout the world, and the fact that people like Ahmed exist is a great help in making any hotel stay a 5* experience. The hotel's breakfast was excellent; you could order any special hot food to be prepared, such as fried eggs, if it was available, and the restaurant staff were outstanding. The hotel's central location means that guests can avoid spending excessive amounts of money on transportation, parking, and worrying about where to go for any activities. The managers Ronit, Hella, and others were excellent as well. Finally, I'd like to mention how much my enjoyment of my visit to this city was influenced by the hotel. I appreciate Ahmed and everyone else, and I hope to see you all again. The stay at metropolitan hotel for a day being a solo traveller to ISREAL had been incredible with additional all together and warm hospitality being rendered by Mr Ahmad the night duty manager . He had been very accommodating in explaining about the importance of Shabbat when I had been lost looking for some coffee and got stuck in elevator which moved quite slow due to Shabbat .He has the ability to connect with people and that I had witnessed even better when he handled another guest who were unhappy by the allocated executive upgrade being given to them and wanted to have single bed rooms and the way he perused the issue turned the situation to friendly and happy ending one , to mention in short he is a man full energy , zeal , charisma and very humble and polite in approach to assist the guest . The hotel was perfect. We were there for new years eve for one night. It's close to the beach. The room was clean and everything there was perfect. The staff was very helpful. The view from our window was also very nice to the sea. The area is also good with a lot of shops, restaurants and fast food places only 5 minutes from the hotel.

Our stay at the Metropolitan Hotel in Tel Aviv was excellent. The night manager, Ahmed, was so nice and accommodating. Ahmed could not do enough for us. We felt so welcome, which was a relief after such a long day. Thank you Ahmed. The food service Manager, Mr. ZVULUN treated us like long lost family and made sure we had some food in our stomachs prior to some much needed rest. Each breakfast and one lunch, Mr. ZVULUN treated us like VIP's. The food was fresh and nutritious and the service in the dining room was exceptional. To all the staff at the Metropolitan Hotel Tel Aviv........thank you genuinely. The facilities and service were above and beyond. Our room was quite comfortable and our stay was restful. My work as an Airline Captain took me to hotels all over the world for 37 years. Never have I been treated with such kindness and human understanding as I was on the morning of January 14, 2023 at the METROPOLITAN Hotel in Tel Aviv, Israel. My wife and I had missed several flights and found ourselves at 5 am in the hotel lobby of the METROPOLITAN. We had a reservation at a nearby hotel where the reception people would not answer our call. We walked into the lobby of the METROPOLITAN where we were greeted by the night manger, AHMED MASHHARAWI. Ahmed found us a room for an early check-in, upgraded us to an Executive Suite and made certain we had breakfast before we took In some much needed rest. Ahmed is a fabulous human being who understands people and customer service and appreciation. In all my years of traveling, I have never been treated so kindly. My wife and I were beyond exhaustion and we were blessed to meet up with such a fine man at this hour of the morning and under those circumstances. Fabulous service at Front Desk by Ahmed. Very welcoming and accommodating of our needs. Hotel is close to the beach with views of water. Very clean and convenient to Carmel market and walks on the waterfront. Room is fresh and sparkling clean.

The hotel was pretty old, and average at best especially for the price, but the staff was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were blazing hot, and the system was set to heat only since it is winter, so I could not run an air conditioner. They also did not have a fan available. I tried opening the window, but the noise from the outside was too much. When I mentioned that at the desk the next morning, they promised that they would have a fan for me when I came for my next night at the end of my tour. And they did! A special shout out to Ahmed Mashharawi Night Duty Manager who made it happen. I also had a question about one of the decorations in the hotel, and he sent me information on it to my WhatsApp. Very pleasant, very helpful.

The hotel is excellent. It's well located with a view to the sea. The breakfast is with a good variety of the local food. I wanted to really thank Ahmed for his kind attention with us (he welcomed us and solved all the problems we had) and also Valentim, who can speak Portuguese. I highly recommend Metropolitan Hotel!!
