Not happy with this hotel , 1.No housekeeping. 2.small and dirty rooms. 3.tiny bathroom. 4. no air condition for cold air 5. Noise 6.old TV , not letting me connect to HDMI The reception was nice to send me a fan but we are in israel and sometimes fan is too little Stay away
The hotel is dirty , rooms are small, furnitures are old and tired , bathroom is tiny, my view was terrible , no AC only heater :( Lots of noise from all over , the only good thing is the breeze in the evening Avoid avoid Avoid this place
Small room about 10 sq.m, dusty carpets, small windows on smoking floor, everything is very old and doesn't work, minibar is out of use, sheets and pillows are like 10 years old. I was isolated by my goverment in that room for 10 days. Terrible
Numerous reports about the reception lacking any basic empathy to the guests who are forced to stay nerr under quarentine. I guess if gov't is covering the expenses the hotel feels like it doesnt have to provide the same level of service or even basic curtesy. I would never stay somewhere that treats people in this way just because they can.
October 2019 was my first time in Israel and just searched online for an affordable hotel close to the beach. Metropolitan was a very good bet. I could find a small, but comfortable room for a fare price within walking distance to all Telaviv seacoast and beaches. Staff was very friendly helping me with the language and suggesting good places to visit (take a look at my posts on Akko, Jerusalem and Masada). And yes, I felt very safe in the Country. Breakfast is fantastic !
