I would NOT recommend booking at this hotel. While it is in a fabulous location, the rooms and bathrooms are DIRTY. Upon checking in, the staff was a bit rude and abrupt. They were not helpful when I asked for restaurant recommendations. Then, I go to my room and realize the biggest issue is the cleanliness of the bathroom. There was dark, long hairs all over the walls of the bathroom (this is mentioned in many other reviews — wish I read them before booking!) The bathroom towels were stained with black stains. At this point, I was pretty grossed out and contacted the WhatsApp number MANY TIMES and never received a message back. I crawled into bed and saw more long, black hairs. The bedroom was dated and dingy. You are paying a “reasonable” price for a reason. I would not stay here again due to the cleanliness. First photo in my review shows the hair on the shower wall. Second photo shows stains on bathroom towels…
Great hotel. Comfortable rooms and very good service. This hotel is conveniently located (near the beach) and you will enjoy the terrace with that view on a nice day. Breakfast is very complete (the Israeli way) although you'd look for a convenient time because it gets too crowded. Recommended!
Best service. Best location. Breakfast amazing the staffis very friendly and welcoming. The location is near Bugrashov Beach and they'll main placese. Rooms small but food maintenance. Happy to come back
Let me add my voice to the chorus: the service here is terrible. Aside from the frustratingly long wait to speak to someone, the front desk staff cannot be bothered to say hello, smile, or make you feel welcome. The welcome area that includes water, juice, and pastries quickly devolves into a mess and eye sore. My early morning check out lasted too long because no one was manning the front desk. And while not a deal breaker, my tv didn’t work. I didn’t even bother to report it because I had zero confidence that the staff or management would do anything. If you see a deal for this place, just go in with your eyes wide open: it’s a well located hotel and your intention should be to spend as little time in it as possible.
Usually - because of lack of time - I don’t write any hotel reviews, but in the case of Orchid Tel Aviv Hotel I need to. Last week my mother and I stayed at Orchid hotel for five days. It is perfectly located, no doubt It is worn out and partly dirty. But this explains the price difference to the 5 star hotels at the beach and is acceptable. BUT: The misbehavior of the staff is beyond imagination. At the doors, at the reception, in the lobby, in the bar, in the dining room, at the swimming pool - simply everywhere They don’t look up, when you enter the room They don’t say hello or goodbye. Let’s not talk about a smile or a „how are you“ or „how was your day?“ … I’ve been to Tel Aviv many times but have never experienced any rudeness like that. If you like to feel comfortable and have polite and friendly people around you - stay away!…
Worst hotel ive ever seen in my life. Even a soviet union prison looks better than that. Elevator not working, prices high to the sky, pool in the size of a bath, chargable parking, you cannot do worst than this place. Avoid this hotel at any cost.
booked a deluxe room. room is covered in mildew dirty all over balcony overlooking a roof.total rip off paid $350 per night for a days inn room. hotel has a don't care attitude. I stopped my credit card payment as this room is worth 99.00 at best
My first experience to the hotel was with someone knocking at my door yelling: out out fire.... so you can imagine the panic. But all went well. The hotel was operating at full house, with a lot of noisy and loud French Jewish customers. who the employees could not handle since it was uncotrollable who was getting in and out of the hotel and the rooms. One night there were out of my door at the floor, at 4 in the morning talking loud and laughing. Other than that I need to admit that at the beginning I was harsh with the employees since I come from a country where we value tourism highly and there is a lot of politeness, because I thought they didnt care. But after talking to them for a few minutes I realized how frustrated they feel because of the type of customers they need to serve and I empathized with them. I am a strong believer that people are those who make the difference in every organization that is why I want to stress how amazing people were Mario, Olga and Ben at the reception who are willing to do the extra mile only for a smile and of course Yafit at the breakfast kitchen who opened her kitchen for me at 6 o'clock just to have something to eat and gave me also a breakfast basket to take with me and saved my day. And a huge thank you to Mario who went and ask for it last minute. Unfortunately, I miss the name of a gentleman who went up in my room with the fire, first day, to bring my phone and was always asking me if I need anything and if I was comfortable in my room. All of you fabulous people are those that add value to Orchid hotel. Thank you for your care and hospitality.…
Hotel Personnel is very rude. Breakfast is terrible and noisy. It is too crowded and guests are allowed to smoke pot and there is no proper attire required anywhere. There is a lot of fast food junk everywhere, it is not clean and there is no personnel to do that. Definitely do not stay here it is a terrible experience. Rooms are too small and insecure mainly because the let street people by.
Perfect location, upscale hotel with beutiful view of the sea, great breakfast.the front desk personnel are efficient and do a good job, however they can be a lot more friendlier. we would recomend this hotel.
