In the middle of our 10-day stay. Having a very positive experience. Very clean hotel, wonderful location and super nice and helpful staff. My wife us very happy here, as she prefers smaller and more intimate venues. Of Note: I developed an eye infection and Samir immediately called for me a local physician who came later that day to our room, prescribed antibiotics so I am already much better. For a friendly and down to earth experience, I highly recommend the Hotel Maxim. Bye the way, "Maxim" in Hebrew means "Charming"... and it is!

I planned to visit Israel for 10 days and really wanted to stay on the sea and this little hotel was just perfect. I was originally looking at the Hilton due to my status, but I wanted something a bit less commercial, personal and cheaper. For some context.. I am a million miler so hotel wise I’ve seen the good, the bad, the despicable and the impeccable. Here are a few things that stood out to me: 1. Staff - Everyone I encountered did their best to help me! No request was overlooked. For instance, I lost my c card and Peter got on the phone w/ me and helped me to ensure I could check in with no issues. When I got in the hotel it was like 8pm, so I was starving after 20 hours of flying and delays, Saeed happily cut me up some of the best fresh raw veggies and sat and ate with me. When your greeted this way .. you know its going to be a good stay! 2. Room - I stayed in room 504 which is one of the rooms with a balcony actually facing the sea. I believe ony the rooms that eend in 04 and 07 have these views.. others room have a small window view. While my room was good enough for me, for 2 I could seeing it being a bit small, but it was super clean and just amazing! Fridge, 2 chairs with table, great shower and pressure, soft bed and pillows. The cleaning ladies are also great! Note: I am OCD so this was very imp to meet a super clean room.. (I’ve walked out of hotels for this reason). 3. Parking - For a 10 day stay I only paid $30 in parking the one time the lot was full. Yes the lot only holds 8 cars, but I had no issue finding a space. Could be the time of year. If it is full, there is parking lot facing the hotel for $15/nght and lots of other parking options around. You can aso download the Pango and Celllopark app to park around the city easily. 4. Location, Location, Location - Needless to say the location was key for me. Not only are there ton of restaurants around me but I had unlimited access to the sea and managed to walk it every single morning!! The roof is also like a hidden gem :)) The thing is this.. next to it you have th Isrotel and others but this hotel is over the parking lot, so the view is not obstructed like the hotels next to it. 5. Found everything.. there is a 24hr store next door with everything.. literally. I found the 24 hour self service laundry.. so easy as you can use your credit card! am pm grocery store has all kinds of food. The Space gym is across the street. The hotel gave me a voucher for day one for 35 shekkels, but I ended paying the monthly membership fee (no contract) for 149 shekkels or $45 (hint; bring your own towels). Traveling alone I really wanted this to be hassle free, smooth, safe and easy. There are tons of taxis (download the gett app FYI), easy access to the transit station and much more! Anywho, I had to leave this review while its fresh. Just checked out after a 10 day stay and feeling amazing!

Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, great price, and free parking (limited spaces). Short walk to Ben Yehuda and Dizengoff. Right across from beach. Nice rooftop terrace open late. Will stay here when return.
