I would call it "shabby but not chic", it was not very clean, long white curtain separating the space between the living room and the bedroom, was rather grey from dust and dirt. The house is badly insulated, so got super warm and stuffy during the day. The air conditioner was awful, dirty and noisy so we avoided using it. There was a container outside the property, right under the window where the builders started to damp garbidge at 7am in the morning. It was very loud and no consideration for us. At night there was a noise I heard in the small outside area/ terrace, when I turned the lights there was a thick line of cockroaches running on the wall near the plants.....300 euros a night for this accommodation, too pricy. Not what I expected, especially after reading all those wonderful reviews....…
Great location with incredibly helpful and generous host Elie. Everything you could possibly need! Very comfortable and a personal rather than impersonal experience with your own front door and no hotel staff. Lovely little verandah on the front and small secluded back garden at the rear to enjoy an early morning coffee or sundowner. Breakfast vouchers for two amazing restaurants including Alma around the corner and Meshek Barzilay next door, a wonderful vegan place. I hope you are lucky enough to experience all that we enjoyed here - its a really great spot and gorgeous decor. Its not for you if you want a sanitised classic large hotel experience but truly excellent if you want something more individual and quirky. Great location and faultless service.
Elie and his wife have created a charming oasis in the middle of Neve Tzedek. One room is more creative than the next, giving you a feeling that you are home. There is even a swing inside! They provide tea, coffee, milk and water for you. The location could not be more perfect and the price is right. We will definitely be returning.
Great rooms in a historical building, lovingly furnished, with small terrace. A dreamlike retreat after activities in Tel Aviv. All you have to do is fall out of the door and you are right in the middle of an interesting old quarter of Tel Aviv, with art, galleries, bars and restaurants. The host lives around the corner, is always available and helpful, be it for restaurant tips or wishes around the suite.
Had a wonderful couple's getaway at Trieste Boutique Hotel. The location of the hotel is amazing: bordering the fabulous Rothschild Ave and in the heart of Neve Zedek. The beach is only a stone throws away. Eli and Paula are wonderful hosts and their personal and original touch is felt in every corner. We stayed in the Deluxe Room (room 2)which was very spacious and airy. There were two little patios (front and back), an in room jacuzzi (separated by a folding pagoda if you are in need of some personal privacy). Getting in and out of the jacuzzi was a bit tricky since it is a bit high. The decor was a combination of flea market memorabilia and romantic French design. There is even a wooden swing in the middle of the room for all you "swingers":) We were pampered with fruits, sweets, cookies, a bottle of wine, Nespresso coffee and a wide assortment of herbal teas. There was plenty of reading material ( English and Hebrew paperbacks) and a large flat screen T.V. . The bed was large and super comfortable with cotton sheets. There were ample towels ( even a set for the beach) and cloth slippers. We were however surprised that there weren' bathrobes. We would suggest including bathrobes as well . Thanks Eli and Paula for a great time!…
