The Royal Beach Tel Aviv garners praise for its spotless rooms and impeccable cleanliness. While opinions on value are split, with some deeming it pricey, others feel the cost is justified, especially given the hotel's modern atmosphere, despite certain decor choices raising eyebrows. Many guests are enchanted by the stunning views from their rooms, which are celebrated for their comfort and cleanliness. The hotel's amenities, including a luxurious spa and a delectable breakfast, receive acclaim, although the early pool closure and additional charges have been noted. The service at Royal Beach is often lauded for its attentiveness and professionalism. Its prime location near the sea is a crowd-pleaser, offering easy access to local attractions and beach vistas.

We stayed 3 nights in a Bellavista room. It had a balcony with sea view. The room was clean and had a good coffee machine. Air conditioning was good. Our requests were met quickly and pleasantly. We asked to change to a room with bath, for an extra duvet, more towels, a kettle and a small fridge.
The decor in the hall is dark and there’s a strange flashing image near the lift on floor 8.
We booked an extra room for 1 night for our daughter. It was a corner room - no balcony. When we asked for a room with balcony, we were informed brusquely that it would be an extra 250 shekel. We declined - this was the only low point. Otherwise all staff smiled and were pleasant and welcoming . Bar staff kindly provided milk for coffee in the room. The breakfast was varied and of high quality.
The pool was closed and drained with no access ( possibly for the winter?) It was 21 degrees so this was a pity. I’d hoped to be able to sit and relax by the pool. Overall we felt it was good value. We would recommend and return to this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for only 1 night and took the simplest room (corner). Nevertheless, we were pleased with our stay and the fact that for just over $200 we got a comfortable room with a comfortable bed, access to the outdoor pool area, and an amazing breakfast. There is construction work going on next to the hotel to erect another building, but the room has excellent windows and if you close them, you can’t hear anything.
I would also like to mention the aqua zone with an outdoor pool, comfortable sun loungers and even wide beds under a canopy. The terrace offers excellent views of the embankment. There is also a lounge bar. In a couple of hours we managed to have a wonderful rest and relieve stress. It's a pity that the pool closed early - at 18:30.
Breakfast was also at the level of a 5* hotel. In addition to the Swedish line with a wide assortment, you could choose a dish that was prepared specifically for each guest (different types of omelettes, eggs Benedict, etc.).
Communication with the hotel staff was also pleasant. I recommend this hotel.

The service and experience at the Royal Beach was absolutely wonderful.
We arrived one hour before official check in time and the room was ready so we were allowed to check in. The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer.
My husband had informed the hotel in advance that we were celebrating my birthday. Upon check in, we were gifted with a voucher for complimentary cocktails in the Lobby Bar.
We had booked a room with a balcony which overlooked the sea.

As we entered the room, we saw that a pillow with Happy Birthday was put on the bed. Was such a nice touch. There was also a bottle of wine.
The room was perfectly clean and felt newly renovated.
The bathroom did not have a spot of mold or any discoloration on the fixtures. It was so clean.

We had dinner at West Side, the in house restaurant, which was incredible.

Breakfast in the morning was plentiful and the service there was excellent as well. They also treated me to a special coffee for my birthday and a sparkler for my pastry.

I felt very pampered and taken care of on my special day by the Royal Beach.
Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed at the Royal Beach hotel in early March and were disappointed to hear the pool was closed. We were not aware of seasonal closure when booking and the pool was a big draw for us in booking the hotel. The room itself was pretty basic but had the basics of what we needed. The safe in the room didn’t work and when we called down for assistance, they said they’d send someone up- no one arrived and wasted our time. We also were abruptly stopped by the receptionists in the spa when we went to grab water bottles from the fitness center, refusing entry because we were not in exercise clothing and only allowing us to get plastic cups of water from the spa. I’ve never had a hotel tell me how I can and cannot use the water from the fitness center and again a very stingy, poor service experience for a “luxury” hotel. Lastly, the front desk staff seemed to have to consult with management for any request- they either lacked training on hotel services or are not empowered to make any decisions (small stuff like a later check in, etc.). Overall odd service experiences that didn’t feel professional or experienced in the hospitality industry. I would not stay here again.

Having what we needed and being in a location close to the beach and Carmel Market we’re the best parts of this hotel, but there are many many other hotels in the same area that I’d rather spend my money with.

We chose the Royal Beach to celebrate my 60th birthday, expecting a top notch experience. We have previously stayed in most of the other Tel Aviv hotels, including the Hilton, Carlton, Dan and David Intercontinental. We paid up for a room with executive lounge access at the Royal Beach.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. Everything we wanted seemed a battle. Starting with housekeeping, where we had no towels or toiletries on multiple days, the hotel appeared to go out of its way to be not accommodating.
The Good: Our executive room was very modern and nice. The lounge was good, but far from outstanding. I do not think it was worth the extra spend, and i love lounges.
The Not So Good - We have an early Sunday morning flight, so we asked for a late checkout. The only option they had for late checkout was to spend $300 to stay till 9PM. We considered it, and on Friday afternoon, we asked them for the late checkout. They told us the room had already been reserved, and we couldn't stay. We needed to meet on with a manager to correct the situation.
The Bizarre: There is no Shabbat lunch buffet served in the hotel. There is room service, but not a great option for a Shabbat meal(plus, how do you actually call room service on Shabbat?). No problem, we went to buy some takeout in the Shuk. So we asked for a small fridge in the room, and were told that there are no fridges. So we asked if we could store our food in a fridge somewhere in the hotel, and again were told we couldn't. Pretty unbelievable that Shomer Shabbat people are not accommodated for meals on Shabbat. I have had hotels all over the world be more helpful.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. I wish I would have booked the Carlton or the dan instead.

Although the hotel itself is lovely and modern, the staff needs better training in how to treat guests. Some of the staff were nice and helpful but those were few and far between. Some of the wait staff at breakfast were not trained and were not very efficient or useful. They forgot to put in orders or forgot to get them. The staff at the concierge desk were generally snooty and unhelpful. Instead of trying to get cabs, we were told it would take too long. A hotel of this calibre should be able to supply a power adapter but they insisted they had none. Check-in was very slow. Though we waited there for a long time, it wasn’t until I asked whether our room was ready that they said it had been for a while. There were fancy long pink lights that stayed on all night, disturbing our sleep. In order to get those shut off, they also shut off some of the other lights so at night the room was rather dim. The general atmosphere there was not pleasant. I would not stay there again.

The grand lobby and tasteful design bring a preview of what is to come. The room is functional with many nooks where they place the hotel amenities. The balcony has a view of both the city and the beach, and you get to enjoy almost a 180-degree view because of the balcony design. The dates and wine are a good touch. They are also able to provide umbrellas when the rain poured down. I am given the Isrotel bottle cap and cork opener as souvenir. Unfortunately, the pool is closed during winter, but the sauna and treatments are still offered. The room has good sound insulation but probably not enough for the especially strong winds we experienced in the last week of December 2022. There is also a need for more fluent English speakers at the dining area for guests as it causes a bit of delay and misunderstanding in orders. Given the kosher standards being maintained, non Jewish guests might look for greater variety in the breakfast or executive lounge choices .

Tel Aviv is going through an incredible building surge but this hotel manages to be a relatively quiet and very comfortable oasis amidst all the din. Staff is extremely responsive and pleasant. Buffet breakfasts are incredible with multiple choices of top quality foods. Dining on the veranda was a treat. Their Friday evening Shabbat dinner was also bountiful, excellent quality and over the top good. Negatives are, the pool hours are limited, so early risers can’t access it. The hall lighting is dim and finding a room can be a bit disorienting due to the lack of well lit signage. Not much dresser space to my recollection and the room thermostats were also challenging. Instructions would be a nice addition. I’m not sure why there are no lobby bathrooms but when they refurbish it I would certainly add them.
Not the fanciest place but definitely 4 stars.

We know Oscar from previous times we ate at the restaurant on Saturday evening. Oskar was dedicated in his work and took care of us at every moment.
Yesterday we came with another couple of friends and chose the tasting menu and it was an excellent choice! The idea that I taste a small bite of each dish and I don't leave feeling overwhelmed after it. The special and strong flavors of the first dishes that arrived was crazy!!!
Our waiter was a nice guy named Tal who made the experience even more wonderful. She drank Caesars with us and was sensitive to our experience and when we would like each dish to come out
We sat in the restaurant from 21:00 in the evening until 23:45 at night!!
Thank you very much for an excellent experience and special food

Best hotel in Tel Aviv!
This hotel exceeded all our expectations. Ruhama Azuri the public Relations Manager runs a superb ship in the Royal Beach. All the staff from reception waiters to the housekeeping staff and so polite. Breakfast was to die for with a seemingly unlimited choice. The pool area is without doubt beyond spectacular. If you want sun and shade with gorgeous lounge beds there is endless choice and you never have to wait for a towel. Most beds have towelling covers anyway. The waiter service round the pool and the pool cafe are tremendous value considering the quality of the hotel. The pool itself in predominately under a canopy to give welcome relief from the Tel Aviv strong sun. The location of the hotel is probably the best. The short walk to Jaffa and slightly longer one to the port makes it the perfect central location for either a walk or a run along the gorgeous front or a short walk inland to all the buzz of Tel Aviv. We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Until
