We arrived at the hotel with no high expectations, but even those were shattered. The pictures have nothing to do with the reality. The bathrooms were beyond dirty, especially the floor and the shower (mould), the rooms are tiny and smell damp. We knew it’s not going to be the best hotel, but at least a clean room is something one should expect for the expensive prices. Some of the staff was friendly some very unkind. Disappointing and unfortunately never again.
I stayed at Bell Boutique Hotel for 2 nights and really enjoyed my stay there. Staff were very friendly & helpful and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Breakfast was great! A variety of Israeli cuisines. Fresh salads, pastries, breads, cakes, fruit juices, coffee etc... My room was cleaned daily. The hotel is located meters from the promenade that goes all the way to Jaffa Port (South) and to the other end past Independence Park (North) A great morning, evening walk. The hotel is also located in a central location (Just off Allenby) close to a variety of shops restaurants and historical/places of interest ie, Rothschild Blvd, Carmel Market. There is also a Spa located within the hotel which I didn’t have the opportunity to use but it is available. I would definitely recommend this hotel as it played a part in my great experience of Tel Aviv & Israeli hospitality! I’ll be back soon for sure! 👍 …
Like coming home! Great location, reasonable rate, wonderful breakfast , a great sleep. Lovely hot water shower EVERY time ! Helpful Staff. Garden Terrace over looking the Mediterrian delightful . Location allows for easy walking to shops and markets , eateries and of course - the beach !
The staff were very eager to ask for Tripadvisor reviews but unfortunately weren’t as eager with their customer service. The room was small, dirty and in major need of renovations, everything was broken or cracked or lacking paint. The hotel keeps the main door locked, seems pointless but it’s annoying when there’s no one at reception and you’re locked out of your hotel, even at a reasonable time of 7pm. The jacuzzi in the room leaked actual rust. It was awful. Even though I had a double room booked, they wanted more money for an extra guest. Very money grabbing. The one positive, good location.
There is nothing Boutique about this hotel. We were offered one room that smelt of cats urine. We asked the woman on reception to come and take a look but she just handed me two more rooms to look at, leading me to think this was a common problem for them. Out of the two rooms we were offered an apparent upgrade and was given a room with a jacuzzi. Sounds nice until we took a closer look... the tub was crawling with small insects and had not been cleaned properly. The place was falling apart, the bed sheets smelt, the TV was crooked, the shower was mouldy, and having paid for a sea view room we were now faced with grotty dilapidated building and the noisy works courtyard below. The neighbourhood was loud keeping us up most of the night with shouting conversations and music. A COMPLETE DISASTER. We booked parking and breakfast with our deal and neither was available upon checking in, costing us more money. The pictures of the hotel look fantastic but dont be fooled. All three rooms we saw were terrible! AVOID AVOID AVOID!…
