We stayed in room number 5. It has a lovely terrace with a comfortable sofa. There is a window on the ceiling just above the bed so you can see the moon and stars... It was nice clean and we had chance to meet the owner. He is very positive energetic and friendly person. Anat helped us a lot to discover the city. The wifi does not work in the top room but if you don't mind too much about it the hotel was perfect.

This historic home in the quaint Neve Tzedek district is great for the independent traveler. Narrow cobblestone streets that are shared by cars and people can be difficult to navigate making address hard to find but it's worth the trouble. The home has been divided up into flats. I had a single room on the ground floor. Nice large room with elegantly styled (if small) bath. Lovely touches take you back in the past. You are given a front door code and a key for your room. Not for anyone with difficulty walking. Even getting to the ground floor requires walking up uneven stone steps. Inside Neve Tzedek the rest of the world seems far away but it's a short walk to the Mediterranean Sea, restaurants and shops including a renovated Ottoman train station. A longer walk will take you to Jaffa or Tel Aviv proper. The location may be old world, but you'll have all the modern conveniences: wi fi, air conditioning, flat screen tv. Be sure your cell phone is working in order to contact the management as there is no staff on-site most of the time.…
