Detailed Reviews
This hotel looks really good on paper or a check list, but it does not deserve the 4 Star rating it has. The lobby and guest rooms look nice, but customer service and comfort are not the priority here. I must say that there is one Excellent amenity, the internet was the best I have ever had at a hotel. However, it was frustrating to stay there.
As a couple, we were given only one key card, which may normally not be a big problem…except the key card MUST be inserted into a slot next to the door to get lights and HVAC to function. When you leave the room, taking the card out of it’s slot, everything turns off in 30-45 seconds. Meaning if you took the card to get back into the room while your spouse was in the shower, the spouse will be literally left in the dark! When yo return to the room and insert the card into the slot, the lights automatically turn on, but the HVAC does not! After a very stuffy and hot first night, we learned that we had to press Power in the thermostat every time we returned to the room. Others in our group learned the same way.
There is a nice dining room with buffet supper which was included with our room rate; however, we had to ask for water. Food was served dry! Later we learned they charged for water, $6 for the same size plastic bottle and label that street vendors were selling for $1. Yes, American dollars are accepted anywhere in Jorden. There were no napkins on the tables, only a box of cheap quality tissues In the center of each table. At the breakfast buffet there were three choices of delicious fruit juice included With the buffet, but the coffee was either cold or lukewarm. There was an omelet station with stacks of eggs and fixings, but the station was never manned on either morning we were there.
There were other issues concerning tips and guest safety, I’ll not mention.
I would think that a hotel whose majority of guests are westerners would be more sensitive to western expectations.

+1
This hotel is like an oasis of calm from the busy world outside. Rooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable, the windows were well insulated so there was no noise from the traffic outside and the location meant that we were well connected to a network of travel routes.
Breakfast was amazing and all in all the staff did an impeccable job of making us feel welcome and at home in every way.

The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. We arrived very early hours of the morning, and check in was very efficent.
They do have a lot of functions in this hotel, up on th 6th floor which is where the function rooms are..
We were on floor 5, and on our first night there the music and noise from the function was so loud, we felt as though it was in the corridor outside our room. We asked reception to move us to a lower floor the next morning, as we found out there was to be another function that evening.. We would not have survived another night with just 2 hours sleep..
The staff did this with no issues whatsoever..
I recommend you check which floor you are on at check in, and ask for anything below floor 4 if there is a function.
The food was fabulous, plenty of selection at the buffet for the breakfast and evening meal. My vegetarian friend says it was the best vegetarian selection she has experienced in an hotel.
This is a dry hotel, so no alcohol is served at all. Non alcoholic beer, water, or soda's were available in the evening at extra charge. Coffee after dinner would have been a bonus, but this was not available.
The hotel is well positioned for restuarants and shops within walking distance.
There is an international hotel about 10-15 walk away, just past the fuel station, if you do need alcohol in the evenings.
The rooms were comfortable, very big, good aircon. Tea/coffee could have been replaced more frequently though..
Our shower screen was a bit ineffective, needed a deep descale, as the water from the overhead shower squirted out everywhere, which caused the floor to get soaked.
Overall a very good hotel in Amman. I would definately stay here again.Plenty of taxi's available all the time to take you to the tourist attractions at a very reasonable rate

The hotel is located more than 10km from the center so you need a taxy every time you wanna visit the city (4 JOD at least). Got a room in the 2nd floor, under the restaurant. The first night there was a wedding in the hotel, the noise of the music in the tiny room was so high that it was like trying to sleep in a disco. We complained with the reception 3 times, every time they answered they were going to finish soon but actually they went on till midnight. In the early morning noise of chairs from the restaurant above our heads. After a new complain they moved us in a new room but same floor, same noise from the restaurant plus from the window on the noisy road. After 3 nights there we were so tired we changed hotel.
The first night we tried the restaurant: below average quality.
The breakfast is very poor, we tried to ask some fruit but they didn’t provide it cos “would cost too much providing for all the customers.“
At the check out they even tried to make us paying as extra the water we drunk at the buffet dinner (the bottle was available on a table for all guests). Definitely a very bad experience.

Stayed here with my husband as part of an Exoticca Tour of Jordan, we arrived very late on the Friday night/early Saturday morning. We were placed on the first floor road side above the banqueting suite where the weddings are held, which was very noisy. Once the noise from the wedding stopped (about 2am I think) the noise from the road became apparent, it never stops and the hotel is located very close to the road. At around 7am the breakfast service started above our heads.... in addition to these issues in our room the safe did not lock and the bathroom was dirty. I requested an alternative room for the other 2 nights of our stay, they had no double rooms available so we plumped for a 4th floor twin room to the rear of the property, the bathroom was still dirty with a lovely orange glow to the grout and black mould under the rim of the sink, but at least there was no road noise and we could hardly hear the wedding noise other than people going to bed around 3am. The website promises a pool and spa, the pool was empty and the spa was closed, there are no robes or iron in the rooms as promised. We went for dinner in the restaurant at the end of our first full day in Jordan to be greeted in the lobby by the most amazing site, a wedding in full swing, the most beautiful bride and groom on the stairs and a band with drums and what looked like bagpipes, the dining room is just above the lobby so although this was great for the wedding party we could not hear anything we said to each other. Once the meal was complete (20 mins tops) we had to go back to our room as there was nowhere to sit and have a coffee as the only seating area in the whole of the building is in reception and the wedding was still going on in this area, in fact you cannot buy a drink in the hotel other than at mealtimes. We returned to this hotel for 2 further days in our stay (we requested another hotel due to the issues mentioned above but were told we needed to pay for other accommodation) and were given a much cleaner if not smaller room on the third floor at the front again. The beds are comfy if you can get any sleep and the coffee at breakfast is good. It would be great if you were coming here for a wedding but if you are here for a tour good luck with sleeping, we really struggled.

We had to stay at this hotel at the start of the trip for two nights and then again at the tail end of the trip for another three nights. The staff at the front desk are incredibly rude especially if you are not Arab and can’t speak their language. On three separate occasions we came back to our rooms late at night and the rooms had not been made up. They were not helpful or accommodating when reporting the issue and instead the front desk manager was arrogant and rude to us. On the second checkin the rooms were not ready and apparently local agent had only booked but not confirmed the stay so we had to wait an hour after an exhausting day out touring. When requesting an iron we were completely ignored despite three seperate calls to the front desk. Eventually we gave up. In addition the meals for international guests is sloppy and badly prepared and the rooms are dirty. The carpets need deep cleaning and the windows have not been cleaned in years. It’s grubby and dirty although the foyer - pictured in all the online pictures, deceives you. This hotel is an absolute no go! The staff are shocking.

The beds in the rooms are very comfortable, the room service came in to clean our rooms everyday and even asked us what time worked best for them to come and clean. The breakfast and dinner buffets were consistently excellent. The staff was very kind and helpful as well.

Located near university, not much to do in walking distance, although Fire Ma Shwerma nearby was excellent. The hotel looked very nice and the pool terrace was nice. Food varied. Sunday was very poor, later in the week was fresh and with more choice. The rooms weren't cleaned very well. The main niggle was drinks. We expected water would be free with a meal, but we had to pay for it. We didn't drink alcohol by choice, but there was a selection of drinks with no prices - including the water. The bottles of water became more expensive each day when we paid. On the last day we paid on check out, and they had added 50% to the price.

We had a 1 night stay here and it was absolutely fine no problems. We came here an hour early than the check in time of 14:00 but they got us checked in early without any charge.
The room was lovely with a comfortable extra large bed. The carpet was clean and tidy. The shower was easy to use and worked perfectly fine. The TV was working fine with an English news channel and a football one which we watched most of times, the rest were arabic ones.
The road outside was fairly busy as there are a lot of shops nearby, KFC, McDonald’s etc. The road noise wasn’t as much to disturb our sleep because of the triple glazed windows.
We had no pry at all here and would highly recommend to others.

Not exactly 4 star hotel, look quite tired. The pool made me laugh - more a puddle rather than a pool. Stayed in two rooms, both showers not sealed properly, once you've had a shower, water is everywhere. Food ok. Polite staff, however, just checked out this morning and felt quite disappointed - we had had some laundry done. The bill came as 34 dinars, which is fine. Tried to pay by card several times, every time " the machine was not working". When checking out in the morning, still "no working machine". We ran out of local currency, the bill in dollars appeared to be 72. We had no choice but to pay. Checked out the exchange rate later at the airport, the laundry bill should not be more than $55 max. Feel really ripped off!
