The St. Regis Amman garners acclaim for its immaculate cleanliness and luxurious amenities that contribute to the hotel's warm and opulent atmosphere. Guests are captivated by the stunning views and spacious rooms, although a few have encountered maintenance and check-in hurdles.
The professional and attentive service typically exceeds guest expectations, despite isolated issues with the wait staff. While many appreciate the premium experience offered by this renowned brand, opinions on value are mixed, with some pointing out room readiness as a concern.

Detailed Reviews
One of the best restaurants in Amman.
My husband and I are regular costumers of this New outlet at St.Regis and always leave delighted with our choice.
Food is consistent, their appetizers, the new additions to the menu and the salted fish is a must. The Staff from the manager to the receptions and the young presentable waiters are always friendly and ready to assist. The main chef is experienced, young, enthusiastic and always ready to accept feed back with a smile. In addition to the beautiful, efficient and talented young lady chefs that we are always happy to see.
Tried it for lunch and dinner and the ambiance is different but the consistency is there. Our preferred location is overlooking the pool in the late days of the summer or when it rainy.
Highly recommend for couples, with family and friends.
Enjoy!

Before writing my review I went to check the negative ones first, because I wanted to make sure my stay wasn’t a question of luck but a true commitment. Let me say that if I had experienced what the disappointed ppl had, I could probably write the same review but I was instead astonished by the service in terms of being polite and helpful and kind. Nothing to do with experience, not all the staff for instance at breakfast are prepared and trained for a top class or high standard customs, but who can be perfect at maybe the first experience?
Now, let’s talk about dark and bright sides. The hotel is expensive but totally worth it! I had a wonderful standard room, on the 7th floor facing the pool and it was so quiet, I couldn’t hear any noise coming from outside and not even from the corridor outside the door.
I found cleanliness, amenities to taste and bottles of water everyday. The pool was run so well and so clean, everytime a guest left the bed at the pool the staff would sanitize it for the next guest.
I will definitely recommend St Regis to anyone

The St Regis is a lovely 5 star hotel located near the 5th circle in Amman and only a couple miles from shopping, restaurants, and the Citadel. I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, with an extensive breakfast including American, European, and Jordanian cuisine. However, what makes the St Regis so outstanding is the staff. Zaina the hostess, the waitstaff including Sandos and Mohamad, and the chefs Malik and Abdullah were just some of the individuals who ensured my meals were perfect. The Concierges, Bashar and Fadi, thoughtfully and quickly accommodated every request. The St Regis bar was recently designated nonsmoking and the perfect place enjoy Ahmad’s expertly crafted cocktails. The Zenith rooftop restaurant just opened June 2021! Be sure to make reservations for evening drinks or dinner and take in sweeping views of the cityscape at night.

To whom it may concern,
I am writing this email to express my disappointment, on Thursday 3rd of September, 2020. I booked a room at your hotel for two nights under the name of Deia Freijat, unfortunately, your service has not performed well, checked in the hotel at 22:30 and brought a meal with me (specially cooked due to my food allergy) the hotel staff told me they will bring it to my room, and it took them 2 hours to bring me my food which made it cold and totally inconsumable. I asked the reason why it took them so long the answer was our hotel was busy.
First problem I faced in the room, the fridge was broken, I called the front desk and made a complaint about it, they sent 3 different maintenance guys and none of them was able to fix it. Moreover, I ordered an ashtray, ice bucket and pair of glasses from the room service, by the time I received the glasses the ice melted, and basically it was only water. Second problem was the WIFI in the room was not working as well, I contacted Front Desk again, and unfortunately they didn’t know how to solve the issue.
To resolve the problem I contacted the duty manager on that day and asked for a room change, his reaction was impolite and asked me to wait till the next day, then I asked him to check out from the hotel room and he replied good luck you cant leave the hotel since its a full lockdown, after that I told him don’t worry I can leave he approved without any hesitation, and he didn’t even offer a refund.
I called one of my friends who was staying at the Four Season he was able to get me a room with a better rate, and the night manager came down from his room at 3:00 am and checked me inn. He even sent us some amenities as a welcome surprise from Four Seasons.
I’m very shocked from the service St Regis Amman is currently offering, such a disappointment from a nice luxurious property to have this kind of staff, and service.
Sincerely,
Deia Freijat

This hotel has major consistently-disappointing managerial and service issues. Despite bringing these issues to the attention of concierge/management on previous visit, the same problems persist under the same useless protocols whereby client service is rendered:
1. Housekeeping hasty and sloppy, except (surprisingly) at weekends. There is no active supervision by management.
2. Room service is a terrible experience. They invariably delay the food tray arriving in the room, then call you up after 5 minutes to ask if they can remove it, imagining that you can gobble it down in that instance! This is a repetitive fault.
3. The management has staff positioned in hallways to direct clients. This can be quite annoying particularly to regular guests who are already familiar with the hotel. In some areas there is not but 2-3 staff doing the same rhinitis!! It's an evident waste of personnel use, which can be redirected elsewhere.
4. The bar service at the hotel is below international standards. While the architecture of bars and restaurants is admirable, the variety of drunks seems to be attuned to local standards and not international clientele. A limited selection of wines, predominantly of a low standard (save for the price which is the opposite). It may be that the bulk of clientele us local qt these venues and what is offered suits their tastes, but it is quite disappointing for non-locals.

After changing our trip itenerary a few times we booked one night in this new hotel before leaving Jordan. Once we saw how beautiful it was we changed our flight and stayed 2 more nights just to enjoy this place. We got the smallest category room but once we saw it, it was too spacious even bigger than a suite in another hotel we booked in the beginning of our trip. Beautiful hotel beautiful rooms excellent service. The concierge were amazing always recommending places and seem to enjoy helping us whenever we needed it.
Breakfast buffet is extensive and really great! The hotel has the only Spanish restaurant in Jordan I’m guessing. The lobby is really nice and the afternoon tea looks Devine although we didn’t get the chance to have it.
45 minutes from Amman’s international airport. It’s new so expect some drivers may not have heard about it. Google map helps. Location is good not so busy with traffic during rush hour.

Definitely one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed! Beautiful public areas as well as the rooms, incredible staff from the concierge to bellmen, servers and managers. On our first night, we wanted to look around and introduced ourselves to the hostess at Mercado Andaluz. Instead of saying "have a look around", she personally walked us to the other restaurant, the bar, library and introduced us to her colleagues at each location. And everywhere we went, people thanked us for coming to Jordan. What a special place!

With complete transparency, this was a certificate stay, not a paid stay. I also applied and received an SNA for a Governor Suite.
We’re at the St Regis on a one night stay on our way to Petra. As a family of four, we generally book two rooms and request connecting rooms through both my Marriott Ambassador and the chat function in the app. We were denied connecting rooms due to the type of suite that was approved however we were guaranteed adjoining rooms. When we arrived at the hotel we were told this wasn’t possible and were initially given rooms on different floors. As we’re traveling with young teens, this wasn’t a workable solution. They then found a room on our floor however it was far from the primary room and it reeked of cigarette smoke. They then found a king room (not the double/double that was booked) that was closer to the primary room. We settled for that as they had NO rollaway beds to put in the suite. None of this should have happened a luxury hotel. Even worse, zero service recovery was done to make up for the lack of suitable double/double rooms.
Service is unrefined at best and not in the realm of the St Regis brand. The butlers are non existent. I’m not sure if unpacking or morning coffee service are offered because that was not made available to us. If you’re looking in the luxury market there is a Fairmont close by that may be a better choice.
Finally, there were ZERO USB ports in the entire suite. This is ridiculous in 2021 when almost all devices connect via USB.

I arrived late in the evening to the St. Regis Amman. As a solo female traveler I was relived how easy it was to check in and how the COVID protocols made me feel safe. The hotel is elegant and the experience first class. My first day I hired a car and driver from the hotel to see Amman. Moe my driver was courteous and helpful driving to the old shopping area and pointing out restaurants. In the hotel the roof top restaurant had the most amazing view.

I have been accommodated in the Saint Regis hotel for nearly 2 months. My family and I have had an outstanding experience. The most superb feature about the hotel is their magnificent employees. The food was delicious, I would personally recommend the salted caramel pudding from Segerta, a fantastic dessert. The cleaners always cleaned thoroughly especially Abdelmajeed, one of the nicest people I have met and is great at what he does, and I would like to formally thank him for always making sure our stay was great and our rooms were tidy and clean. I would also like to give a big thank you to Hamza, Safy, and Diya who work at room service for always bringing us sweets and chocolate and made sure our stay would be unforgettable, and Hamza for always playing with my dog Cookie every time he passed by.

Hi, I have no idea but I didn't find that a problem. I was a solo traveller, but for the Middle east I know you don't need to be married above all in those high standard 5 stars hotels
Not sure about the covid test, but the hotel is smoking free
I would just tell you that you are choosing the best hotel in Amman !
Wish you a great trip
A good size pool
To update, the St. Regis unfortunately :confirms: "we don’t have an indoor pool in the hotel , there is actually an indoor pool in the residences but unfortunately it is not accessible to hotel guests"
I am surprised by this given its a brand new hotel and all other higher end properties including Four Seasons and even Hyatt have indoor pools.
