I loved the story of the owner, who lives in the hotel and eats every night at its restaurant. His pets are walking around in the reception area. He organises a lot of social projects to help local people. You can refill you bottle of water for free, because they try to avoid plastic. You really should go there to support all this.

Dear valued guests thank you for taking time to review our hotel its about time every person do something to help save our planet Earth. It tears my heart when i see the destructive bush fires in Australia ,the massive loss of forest ,billion birds and animals..Fires in California ,and Brazil, all these accelerate climate change .it it went will will lead to extinction of life on Earth. This is last chance human has to save planet Earth .Single use plastic trash is flooding oceans and killing fish life to extinction. I am glad to say i received such a good response from our customers by offering free filtered water bottle refill even for people and tourists who walk in from street. Im glad you appreciate what we do.its encouraging. best Raymond and crew

I stayed there with my family (with a 4 year-old girl) for 3 nights in my recent trip to Jordan. The guys there are nice and helpful. The hotel itself is really well located 5 minutes walking from the RomanTeather, and not far from the citadel. Even though they keep it clean, it is an old building and you can notice it. People in Amman smoke a lot, so it's not strange to feel that smell in the hotel. They have set a nice practice about water, allowing you to refill your container or free with filtered water instead of giving you plastic bottled water.
As it is in Amman downtown, you might be awake by the prayers at midnight and a bit later. To me, that was just beautiful to listen to it.

Rate includes good breakfast with hardboiled eggs, vegetables, hummus, bread, and option of omelets for additional price as well as orange juice, tea and coffee.
The room itself is very basic and for the price it is very acceptable although may need some maintenance but you get clean sheets and a decent sleep.
The owner runs an organization that feeds homeless and people in need which is very cool. You will see in the rooftop terrace some rabbits running and lovebirds in the reception.
They offer to exchange money at good rates…at least I compared to exchange offices and the rate was the same so feel free to change money here if you are short on time.
Unfortunately we did not take the free walking tour they offer but I heard good things about it.
Quite good budget hotel

+1
Where to begin?
The location ia perfect for a turist of all kind, in the middel of westlbelad (downtown) with a view over the Roman theather. Just outside the door you have th bazars with oriental products of all kind.
The hotel is owned by Reymond and his wife, both wonderfull and warm persons. Jafar is a great manger with help of his great stuff, fore sure you will not miss Mo and Kawfoosh two happy guys with a lot of postive energy whish make you in good mode whatever day or weather.
Don't miss the chance to have a free guided tour through westlbelad with Mohammed, a perfect start!
About the facilities, well they might not be in the best shape and some stuff have seen there best days but as everything else in Jordan "you get what you pay for". But you will still get everything you need, free clean water, clean linens and warm shower.
The restaurant offers a good selection of traditional food, some international alternativa, bevrage as beer, wine and so on. Great breakfast which is possible to bring on the go.
Through the hotel you can plan and mange your trips with Maruan to wherever you like! A wise man with a lot of knowlegde and can give you the inspiration you need. I can warmly recomend that you ask for Richard as your guide. The best guide I ever experienced, shalas! His knowledge and his benevolence to give you the experience you search for is something that you don't want to miss.
A humble and thankfull guest🙌

The hotel was centrally located, ight in front of the Roman theatre and a few minutes walk uphill to the Citadal. The rooms are basic but fine for the price. I would say the rooftop terrace is one of its best features as the view is incredible.
The hotel also offers a free walking tour. Muhammad was a really friendly, he told us he grew up in Amman before it became big and took the time to explain the history and culture of the downtown area. The tour was not your stereotypical tour as it did not include the citadel or the Roman theater but if you are interested in learning about more about the area then this is the tour for you.
Overall it was a decent stay, one suggestion would be that they clean our room more frequently as we stayed for 4 nights and our room wasn't cleaned. However, when we asked for towels and refreshments, the hotel staff were very willing to help.

I had a fantastic time at Pasha Amman. They sent a driver to collect us from the airport who gave us loads of tips for travelling in Jordan - which was useful as we hired a car after leaving Amman.
The hotel has a really bohemian, hostel-esque vibe and really reminded me of backpacking in my early 20s. It seems like a great place to meet other travellers. Unfortunately we were there during the pandemic so we didn't get a chance to do that.
Our room was lovely and had a stunning view of the roman theatre across the road. My girlfriend felt that the room was a little dirty but I can't say I noticed it :D The location is incredible as you're right in downtown Amman and the adjoining restaurant does really good food. The rooftop also offers views across Amman. Loved it.

The staff make this place. Rooms are basic and there is some road noise, but the beds are comfy and there is plenty of hit water and good showers. Nice restaurant on site and excellent breakfasts. Try the omlette for 2JD extra, you won't regret it. They serve alcohol in the restaurant and on the roof terrace, which has great views. Tours of the old town markets and recent history led by Mohammed leave at 10 and 3 every day. Mohammed is a doubt of local knowledge having lived in the area for many years. Well worth doing to orient yourself. You just have to tip him at the end (2 hours). Other tours can be arranged through the hotel and they change money at good rates. Very close to restaurants and downtown shops, the Citadel etc. We liked it here.

We were meant to stay here for 2 nights in January 2020 but, after a couple of months, we received an email in broken English saying our booking was cancelled. I thought it was spam at first but I emailed another contact at the hotel and they confirmed it was correct. I was really disappointed because I'd had the booking for months and I was confused as to why it has been cancelled. They said it was due to a hack but didn't really explain further. Then when the booking platform I booked through contacted me and arranged a replacement hotel, they said it had been cancelled because of planned renovation works. So I felt lied to and even more disappointed.
All that said, we had a walking tour booked through the hotel which we decided to still go on when we were in Jordan. That was very good and no regrets about going on that, very fun

Dear valued customer i hate to go back to those horrible days to haunt us again.Im trying to forget. At first we we in the dark for a few days took a while to work out what has what has happened with time we discovered that one of our employee poached by a competitor the one who was behind the harm and damage caused to our hotel.Thousands of rooms were sold for whole the year for a song yes around jd 12.imagine a double room en suite in high season sold for that price.it could have been a financial disaster or even bankruptcy .A similar room in same class hotel offers 24 hours AC,hot water, breakfast and more sells for jd 40-50. When we found out the serious situation we alerted our customers to cancel their reservation and pay nothing.or keep it and pay a discount on of the normal price. 90% of customers were understanding and accepted our offer of discount .few refused and cancelled reservation as in your case.if you knew the facts you would have been more sympathetic with us.We are really nice friendly people to deal with im glad to hear you enjoyed the free walking tour of downtown amman best regards Raymond

The hotel staff were very welcoming and lovely. The pets on the rooftop made it feel like home. However, the room was absolutely filthy. From the time it took me to walk from the shower to the bed, my feet were so dirty I left a black foot print on the bed sheets. The towels and sheets are old and did not feel clean either. The room
was tiny but to be expected being within walking distance to all the main attractions. Expect to be woken up early with the morning prayer, but you get used to this being in Jordan. The hotel does offer free ear plugs for guests which is a nice touch.
If hygiene was improved this could be a really great hotel. I would not stay here again.
