At the heart of the city, where modern and historic Amman meet. Elevated as one of the city’s most prominent seven hills, Grand Hyatt Amman stands out with its distinctive carved pink stone façade, offering a broad 360-degree view of the city. Along with welcoming guests and travelers into our expansive lobby, not only does Grand Hyatt capture the five-star comfort, but it also provides an abundance of sublime dining experiences centering The Lombard, a grand and modern formed dining room with an Italian sentiment, that serves a modern perspective on historic recipes in a menu of reimagined and utterly delicious Milanese cooking.

Stayed for four days at the outset of my first trip to Jordan. The hotel has excellent covid health precautions throughout the hotel and with the staff.
You will feel safe here.
Lifetime globalists may be disappointed that the lounge is not open, however I was not unhappy as the staff clearly goes out of the way to provide you with a friendly “can do” attitude. This was without exception from front desk to housekeeping, and especially Said at the morning breakfast and complimentary Globalist 4-6 pm afternoon menu which he offered in the room from 6-8 pm, given current covid government restrictions. If you are in Amman on a Friday government lockdown day, this is the place to stay.
Will be Returning for one night before departure because I was so happy with my experience. Thank you all for doing your best for guests in this challenging time.

Joined my parents for a 15 night stay in late August 2021 at the Grand Hyatt Amman, third circle. For making the booking, I did an online search through the popular apps and later decided to contact the hotel directly. The reservation representative was very helpful and told me about a an ongoing online promotion which he helped me take advantage of.
Once at the hotel, only a few minutes were spent at the reception desk and then I was guided to my room, which was on the nonsmoking third floor. Here is my feedback about the stay:
1. Staff: I thought I’d start with the staff because our experience in dealing with ALL the hotel staff was nothing but positive. ALL were diligent, respectful, helpful, courteous, and polite. I don’t have all the full names but I’d like to give huge thank yous to Ra’ed Hamdan at 32 North, Abdallah and Hadi at the Terrace (sorry if I got the name wrong but i think Hadi is the slim and tall gentleman), and Sa’aed Abdelazziz at 32 North as well.
2. Room: spacious and clean, but I think it’s soon due for a facelift. Also, the room overlooked the street, which can be a bit noisy.
3. Gym: I managed to exercise 14 times during the stay 😁 the gym was very clean and the machines were good. The main brand for the cardio machines is Cybex. Some things can be upgraded though like the elliptical trainers.
4. Lounges: we mainly used the Lounge of the ground floor and the outdoor Terrace. The Terrace was amazing and we spent almost an hour to two there before going to sleep every night. Everything is served at the Terrace from coffee to heavy meals. Again a Huge shout out to Abdallah and Hadi. Both made our evenings very enjoyable. Weather was supper nice during the evenings, remember that it was August!
5. Location: very convenient and close to almost everything.
6. Internet: no complaints at all, WiFi worked perfectly well everywhere around the hotel.
7. Cost: for a 5 star facility, I think the room rates were reasonable, but the cost of meals and beverages within the hotel can be improved though!
8. Security: amazing! I forgot my iPhone one day in the lobby and went to my room to sleep. The head of security made sure that the phone was returned to me 😃
Overall, loved my stay and would certainly recommend staying at the Grand Hyatt 👍🏻

We are two very lucky US travelers who came to Jordan for our first time. The hotel has really solid security, it’s a lovely 5 star accommodation just a few blocks from famous Rainbow Street, which leads to a shorter walk to the Temple of Hercules and many Souks.
Jordanian people are wonderful! They exclaim, “Welcome to Jordan!” When they see you. This hospitality and enthusiasm is the same inside the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
The rooms are large with big windows. The breakfast and dinner are fantastic! Bassam in the lobby and Saed in the restaurant provided outstanding service.
I booked the same hotel again upon our return to Amman.

I rarely write reviews but I am compelled to write one for this hotel. I am a World of Hyatt Globalist, a top elite and has been for past 6 years or more and have stayed at many Hyatt's top jewels. This hotel only charges 5000 hyatt points being redemption category 1 same as limited service Hyatt House and Places in some of US cities but don't let that fool you. I was treated better than the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme I stayed few years ago for 1/6 of the points that PH charged. If you are a globalist or your rate includes Grand Club access, you will get a full breakfast buffet at their main restaurant because their GC is current closed due to COVID and you will also be treated with a set of menu at their lobby lounge that includes drink, desert, soup/salad and hot dish that rivals full dinner at most restaurants. i was proactively upgraded into a suite and they also protactively offered if I want another rollaway bed after learning that I have two teen girls staying with us. Only other Hyatt that offered two rollaway beds in a suite was Park Hyatt Tokyo, another cat 7 hotels. I really felt bad for paying just 5k points and getting so much out of this stay. Also the property was maintained well... it's an older property but better than many Grand Hyatts I've stayed at. and EVERYONE... front desk, concierge, restaurant staff... all friendly and eager to provide best customer care.

This was my first visit to Jordan and obviously my first time in Amman. There seems to be a slight gap in the market for new hotels in the city as all of the major players (Hyatt/Marriott/Accor) all had properties that were quite dated.
The hotel lobby was beautifully presented with Christmas decorations and Arabic coffee on offer, along with a cool lounge area which is perfect for a late night drink or an afternoon tea.
Our Park Executive Suite was well laid out and welcome amenities included local delicacies and a mini fluffy toy camel which made the perfect souvenir.
The decor in the room was, along with the rest of the hotel, very dated and very much in need of a complete refurbishment. The hotel has demonstrated that it is prepared to invest in refurbs with the brilliant new indoor/outdoor pool, gym, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.
But the absolute stand out aspect of this property was the staff and service. Hamzeh is one of the best concierges I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with in the entire world, and Islam in the spa/fitness centre went far above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and familiar with the new facilities. The Executive Club Manager was also excellent.
The breakfast was just average. With some significant refurbishment, this property has the makings of a brilliant hotel.

We decided to spend a day in Amman on our way to Petra and picked the Grand Hyatt. He drive from the airport was about 30, we used a private driver. As soon as you arrive there are people ready to greet you and take your bags to your room. We had a seat in the main lobby and a concierge came right to us and gave us our keys and brought us to our room. We decided and I recommend the top floor in the main tower. The ninth floor is the executive floor that comes with a nice lounge. We didn’t use it, but went in and it was really nice! Really nice spread of food, beer, wine, liquor, beautiful views! Our king room was large with a large bathroom with a shower and soaking tub. Small mini bar, desk, and all the normal items you would expect. Everybody at this hotel is extremely nice and helpful. There is a really nice restaurant (32 North) with a nice lounge area. No brainer, great stay!

Very poor breakfast with limited choices and miser policy. The staff is very friendly and helpful with hospitality attitude. The restaurant is very narrow and not suitable compared to the hotel capacity. In one occasion I had to eat my breakfast in the coffee lounge between the restaurant and the lobby picking my food from the short coffee table! The design of bathroom is vert awkward as toilet is completely exposed to sink area and both of tub and shower! Moreover, the area of tub and shower is exposed to toilet and sink areas as they are closed by 100% transparent glass door!

To begin with, please go to the spa if you come here. It is exceptional. Yuliana and Islam are hilarious and are always working the front desk and can help you with anything you need. The managers, Alaa and Sana, take care of the customers and that is key when running a spa! There are multiple machines in the workout room for your liking and the sauna and steam room are always working and kept clean. Thank you to Mohammad, Ahmad, and Majdi for keeping it so tidy. Lastly, please go to the indoor pool and relax when you come here. It is perfect for calming down and removing stress!

Grand Hyatt Amman is centrally located. It is easy accessible from the airport and the hotel has a partner company that can arrange a transportation from/to airport with reasonable price. Well maintained property. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast with vast selection of food. BUT, the biggest problem is the sound proof of the rooms. The doors are closing hard with big bangs, close to the elevator (or the service elevator) the noise from the elevator is constant. If you want to sleep late in the morning, this is basically impossible because of the noise from the hallways (door bangs, talking etc.) Make sure you do not choose a connected room. In this case the sound proof is even worse. I was forced to change a room in the middle of the night when waking up to the chatting, laughing and running of the kids at 1:30 am.
