Had a total of four nights here while travelling with Explore. Comfortable rooms with a well stocked fridge, complimentary water and a selection of toiletries. It's worth staying here just for the breakfast which was fabulous - a great buffet selection, well laid out and the quality of the food was excellent. The hotel is a short walk to downtown Amman in one direction and the King Abdullah 1 Mosque in the other. There are also local shops and restaurants in the vicinity.

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed here for our last night in Jordan . This was our 3rd hotel in Amman because the first 2 were not good . We were traveling with Explore. Toledo Hotel is good value for money , a good place to stay. Pros Great staff, helpful and friendly Very clean and comfortable communal areas Fabulous breakfast, best ever Nice clean comfortable room Easy walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants Small outside seating area where you can sit and have coffee. Cons The AC was a bit noisy so had to turn it off.

It is really nice to arrive at a hotel, just past midnight and be greeted by warm smiling faces. The staff we encountered were efficient and courteous. Our two day stay was really pleasant and the breakfasts superb. Even at meal times the staff were very eager to please, particularly the man tasked with making omelettes and pancakes! The rooms were very tidy and the hotel spotless. However, some of the views from the room were a little uninspiring but as the hotel was serving mainly as a base for activities elsewhere, this was not a problem. Rooms 611 & 612 overlooked a car park in an adjacent building. Very quiet and unlike our last visit to Amman there was no call to prayers heard from our room. The layout of the hotel was a little confusing as the building was built on a slope and the reception was on a higher level than most of the rooms.

Wonderful stay for 6 nights, rooms were comfortable and clean, with complimentary water left daily. Staff, from reception to the housekeeping, were courteous, helpful and friendly going above and beyond to make our stay go well. Breakfast was superb, especially loved the fresh pancakes. Location was good, easy access to Downtown Amman.

Stayed here for 1 night upon arrival in Amman and then again for 2 nights toward the end of the trip. The Hotel resonates with Jordanian architecture seamlessly throughout the property including mosaic designs. The rooms are super quiet but sadly did not have a view. Breakfast has sumptuous options including an Omelette & Pan Cake station. Service is excellent across Front Desk, Restaurants, and Room services with the right people ready to do everything they can to make your stay comfortable with a smile on the face and expecting the least in return. The Front Desk staff are the stars of the Hotel who are professional and friendly and were kind enough to upgrade us to a Family Room despite the Agent booking us a Triple Room (for a family). The Hotel is located off a quiet street (backside) and is under 10 minute's drive to downtown by cab. There are also some good restaurants and convenience stores that can be covered on foot.

It is with a heavy heart that I can't give a 5 star review. I did not sleep for 2 nights at all as a result of the traffic noise. I moved rooms to a higher floor but it didn't make a difference. The honking goes all night long then the call to prayer which is a beautiful sound but guests should know about this if you stay roadside. The hotel itself is spotless, fantastic breakfast and location. Lovely staff

Lovely clean hotel, comfortable beds and good shower. Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of vegetarian choices. Friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to good local bars and restaurants, especially when you take the back door on the lower level!

Stayed pre and post Intrepid tour of Jordan. This is a lovely hotel with great beds and amenities. Fantastic, helpful staff and open 24 hours at front desk. Breakfast is varied and superb and caters for all tastes. The breakfast chef is a very happy chap and makes you feel good at the start of the day. All hospitality staff are extremely friendly and helpful and clear tables quickly. We didn’t try out the pool as too busy. Downtown is a 40 minute downhill walk. Quite steep to walk back so consider catching a taxi for 3 dinnar max. Amman had much to see and we toured the citadel, old mosque,Jordan museum and a walking tour. The latter gave us good insight into old and new markets of Amman including historical sites. Front desk arranged our driver for King Hussein gate at a very fair price which was put onto our hotel bill so an easy way to pay.

Two nights at beginning and one night(New Years's Eve) at end of a small group tour. Arrived 2am (flight delay) Christmas Day and arrived back in dark on day 2 and final day so did not really explore locality in daylight. But only short cab ride from souk area. Staff welcoming, speak good English. Unable to use indoor swimming pool as gender /time rota did not allow for female swimming the time/date group stayed. Comfortable bed.Heating in room works fine but keep the extractor fan off in the bathroom(and the light) as extracts the heat. Fixed large showerhead(not good to wash long hair) Clean.Room fairly spacious. Kettle. First call to prayer very clear as a relaxing wake up call. Breakfast buffet comprehensive, includes european and middle eastern type offerings.Real, proper coffee.(Instant ,herbal ,green and black teas also available) Ate in restaurant New Years Eve ,buffet offering Not sure if similar every evening but I just had lentil soup a la carte. Menu on a digital QR code! I just asked the waiter! New Years eve, having been told that no one celebrates the new Year, seemigly all cars and motorcycles in Amman passed round and round on full headlights and horns blaring.
