Alhamdullilah by the blessings and mercy of Allah I have had the opportunity to perform Umrah with my wife and two children aged 18 & 15. We had a quad room at Al Muqam & mashallah can say we have no complaints whatsoever. Our expectations were of a 3star hotel which Al Muqam clearly is. However the location is great...

Stayed here with 3 beds and 2 adults and 2 young kids. I combine all 3 beds to make 1 big square sleeping bed. Hot water is ok. The AC a bit weird, sometimes a hot air came out. The controller seems not responding. Room a bit stuffy as no ventilation. The window is facing next building. Lift is fast....

I wish I could put negative stars here. - Room given to us four hours late with no apologies (the guy in charge was snoring away in the meantime- literally) - After having paid for breakfast, the hotel employees laughed in our face when we asked where breakfast would be served - they had no idea what we were on...

The story in brief: we came late to the hotel. The air conditioning wasn't working fine. But we went for sleep. After an hour we wake up feeling the bites all around our bodies. It was bed bugs. A LOT of them. Went to the reception. Changed room. BED BUGS again. Not to mention other disgusting bugs or the dirty...

Important during those rush period - Airconditioning functioning well throughout to ensure deep sound sleep important due to very short...

Almaqaam is quite close to the haram, we were skeptical when reading previous reviews but were advised that the place was revamped. Don't fall for this, it's still rated as 2 star. Besides the room n bathroom, breakfast was super poor. No cereal, no milk, just curry, hard boiled eggs, rolls and tea. My family got stuck in the list...
