Kowsar Hotel is well located in central Tehran, within walking distance to Valiasr Sq. The rooms are clean and spacious. Has a very nice traditional tea-house for socializing with other travelers and locals. breakfast is excellent.

This hotel has obviously been special at some stage but is badly needing an upgrade. The rooms were clean and comfortable and there was a bath, though as ever no plug, lucky we always carry one. There was an excellent of toiletries and other goodies but no conditioner, perhaps less important since hair is always covered. The breakfast was really...

Room is fine. Large enough and clean. However the curtains only pull over 1/3. Ok when you have jet lag like us but needed for a decent sleep. One receptionist very nice and helpful the other grumpy and not interested. Breakfast bread rolls the crispest and freshest you'll ever have one day and then recycled for day too and rock...

Stayed in this hotel recently with family, the hotel is located in a prominent location. Rooms were clean, lots of freebies in the fridge to snack on. Breakfast was very simple. Can't expect much but they do have a egg corner where one can have their eggs done to their taste. The hotel is very quiet with friendly staffs. Overall...

Location is central but service is almost non-existent. But I understand this is one of the 'better' ones in Tehran. So maybe it's good according to local standards. Internet is terrible, had to struggle as I was on a work trip. Most staff don't speak any English & customer service is an alien word to many :) There was constant...

I managed to sleep maximum 2 hours per night while staying here. The hotel is unbelievably hot, even leaving the window completely open (and the temperature was close to freezing outside) the room felt like a sauna due to a powerful stream of hot air from the air conditioning system that reception said could not be stopped. Plus you have...

not a bad location in tehran. hotel is a bit drab but the welcoming staff make up for any short comings. even number rooms seem to be larger than odd number rooms. On tour return I was given 211 and the wardrobe door containing the fridge only half opened due to proximity of bed. rooms are good warm large bathrooms....

This hotel seems beyond the point where everything can be easily maintained. Its just plain old "worn out". Windows not properly closing (a significant issue when its freezing outside), toilets not flushing properly, bed sheets too small, leaking baths (bathroom floors flooding), curtains not closing properly and so on. But, the staff do a good job and the restaurant breakfast...

Bit difficult to get the temperature of the room sorted. Too tired to worry about it most the time. Tehran is a full-on place. The restaurant was satisfactory but there are quite few restaurants nearby although you do need to be pointed in the right direction. e stayed two nights at the beginning of our trip and two at the...

Stayed here for 4 nights. A nightmare of a hotel and the staff were indifferent. In need of a lot of work. From plumbing to heating to television fixing. The location is central but the state of the hotel did not help. The heating did not work and it was -4 outside. The directory in the room was all wrong...
