Honestly, the hotel could have been a bit more informative about the properties themselves. We didn't know (even from the website we booked from) that there are 2 buildings to the hotel where you'd need to cross the road to commute from the main hotel to the other building. If you're not used to crossing the road with crazy people...

Over all wasn't good, You can't ask the reception for taxi or restaurants, they won't give me clear answer. they charge more than what I have booked. The reason because I choice to stay in the main building with the same what I have booked.

Rooms are only road facing, I read previous guests comments but thought would get a room off of the main road at the back of the hotel to avoid traffic noise but there aren't any as a rooms are street facing! however road is not too noisy in Lebanese or Middle Eastern standards, still is likely to wake you up...

If you want to save money, then this hotel is a good idea. There are 2 buildings for this hotel, one new and the other is old, usually when booked from booking.com with good rate you will be put in the old building.

We used an internet website, choosing the City Suite hotel in central Beirut, only to find when we'd arrived that we'd been sold a room in its sister hotel, in Jal el Dib. Although 'Beirut' is stated on the address, in reality no local considers Jal el Dib to be in Beirut. The location is about 20 mins from the...

“Take ear plugs with you, expect to cross the road as main hotel building is across the road from reception which doubles for the sister hotel apparently. You will need a car hire or taxi to town or to Jal El Dib, there is a car hire shop next door and taxi cost is around $25 to or from airport with 20 minutes ride.”
