Stayed there in April 2017. The location is great. In Al Hamra Street, very busy area, shops restaurants and pubs but still not noisy at night, you can get a good night sleep. The staff is so friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet is not very good though, not many choices but overall is ok. Rooms are big and...

Check-in: Fairly unremarkable but friendly and efficient. Upgrade to a Junior Suite for someone who was staying for the whole week was unexpected but very welcome. Staff offered to carry bags to my room but I politely declined. Room: Clean and spacious. Lighting was functional; everything else in the room (TV, wi-fi, safe, etc.) worked. Bathroom was also roomy with...

Absolutely fine hotel. Simple. Clean, though dated. Balconies look out at other hotels or buildings. Breakfast is good enough, again, not lavish but everything you need (fresh fruit, eggs, beans, bread). Bathroom looked new. Spacious!

The room is simple, basic but clean and well equipped. The location is great, it is in the heart of Hamra district. There are a lot of restaurants and bars around. The hotel is historical, good taste of the decor. The service and breakfast was very good as well.

I stayed for 3 nights at the Mayflower, the staff was very friendly, a special thanks to Hassan and to the guys from Bangladesh, you are amazing!!! It’s an average looking hotel, hence its good. Friendly staff, good rooms, good service, they got a valet & a small pool on the roof The best thing about the hotel, is that it’s in the heart of hamra (which is the best area in beirut, from nightlife to shopping to food) Definitely a place to stay at

This hotel, although somewhat worn and battered, serves the purpose of a place to stay that functions satisfactory, and that for a truly acceptable price. It seems to be a favourite for journalists and aid workers from all over the world, and therfore has an atmosphere of internationalism, which is rather pleasant. Not luxury but good value, absolutely !

I've stayed at the Mayflower in July, 2016 for 9 nights. Honestly, at the first sight I didn't find the place attractive because the room looked a bit old. But after I realised it wasn't that bad. Room was very clean with a good mini bar. Bed was very comfortable and room service was very quick. Breakfast was rich as...

I stayed at this hotel for two nights over a weekend in January 2017. I chose it because I got a good deal on the rate. This hotel is located in the Hamra area, which is known for quaint bars and restaurants. The night life in Hamra is certainly lively, which means that this isn't exactly a quiet hotel. That...

Some may say it's tired... I say it's classic and safe. This place won't set the world on fire but it's great location... breakfast included (not bad but not special) clean. Good sized rooms. Bathrooms with bath. Friendly reception with security. They booked me a return taxi to airport for 25 dollars. As a backpacker normally this is luxury for...
