I cannot recommend the Standard I enough. It was my third stay and I decided to look more into an apartment rather than a hotel. It feels much more as if one is staying in one owns flat. The lounge was comfy, with a settee, armchair and tv. The kitchen was perfectly good although it would have been better if...

This is a very cute place and the location is wonderful...finding the complex is part of the journey to relax in a clean and fairly comfortable space. You are greeted with a very large bowl of fruit (+++) and water. There is a sitting area off the bedroom and a nice balcony (nothing like the picture however). There seems to...

We were very happy with our stay at The Standard I - the hotel staff were very friendly, and the apartment was immaculate. The location is great, just 2 minutes from Hamra street with numerous bars, cafes and shops, and about 5-10 minutes walk to the lovely American University and on to the Corniche. A few minor issues would have...

Don't trust google maps! The location is close to where it's supposed to be so make sure to call ahead or have your taxi driver call for you as addresses don't exist in the city. Once you do find it, be prepared to be overwhelmed with a ton of charm! Front staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The unit is...

Just 2 minutes away from Hamra main street. Very Clean, Friendly staff and spacious suites. They do not serve Breakfast however there's a tiny local bakery next door that offers delicious Cheese and Zaatar bread. I recommend that you book the Boutique Suite which has oriental/local furniture.

This service apartment is located at the center of the town. 30 minutes walk from the main street. The room was spacious-one kitchen, one living room, one bed room and one balcony with a table and chairs. Staffs are really kind. Everything was delivered so quickly. One night, I found TV doesn't work. Right after calling them, they fixed everything...

The initial booking process was a bit sketchy even when ringing as the front desk spoke no English at all. However, repeated requests for 'manager' got me the phone number and everything was perfect. They organised shopping for me so that it arrived before I did, the manger was beyond helpful, the man I was cross with on the phone because...
