I was here for a course and it’s a nice hotel with very friendly staff, clean and lovely food. I had my hair done about 500 metres down the road at Danny’s salon and can recommend for a great cut and colour.

My daughter and I spent two weeks here and we were very happy we chose this hotel.
The one thing that really sets this hotel apart from others we’ve stayed at in Lebanon is the excellent hospitality we were shown by the entire staff, especially Samir and Nayiri at the front desk and Sultan at the restaurant.
We enjoyed a lovey breakfast each day and some of the best coffee around!
The location of the hotel is excellent, and it’s located in a quiet neighborhood. There is ample parking on the street and the hotel also has taxi (special thanks to Hussein and Elie!) We felt very safe at all hours here.
Our room had a beautiful view and very ample storage! We appreciated the huge closets and shelving, we were able to stay organized with all the space. The bed was very comfortable and our room was nice and quiet even though we were close to the elevator. Be aware that this hotel is older and although it could use some updating (hairdryer, older outlets, a bit of wear and tear) it was extremely clean and functional. Housekeeping did an excellent job daily. We also had valuables (passports, iPads, Apple Watches, jewelry etc,) in our room and even cash and nothing was ever disturbed. We didn’t even use our room safe.
We are so happy we found the Padova Hotel and we will continue to stay here with each visit, as well as recommend it to friends and family.

Dirty. Smelly. The smell of sewers was infesting the room. We woke up the next day feeling sick because of the smells. The room is extremely filthy and dirty overused and not maintained. There are ko amenities in the room. No kettle, no hair dryer . No tissues. Nothing. U just pay 100$ to take a filthy smelly sickning room that has nothing but an overused dirty sofa and a bed

we hosted a conference at this hotel, after a recommendation from a contact in beirut. it was a horrible experience. for a conference, or any sort of business, this is not an ideal hotel. while the staff was friendly, they simply dont have the capacity to host even a small workshop or seminar series. the food was not good-- the breakfast was the same thing everyday, stale bread, few kinds of cheese, flies all over the food, etc. for dinner, they would serve us leftovers from lunch. the rooms were not as clean as i would like. the hotel has one elevator that takes forever. the wireless internet is very slow.
most importantly, the location is terrible. it's in a residential area, but not within walking distance to a main street, or mini-market. therefore, the hotel has a monopoly on food and transportation. but be warned, do NOT take the hotel's taxi driver, they charge at least 25% more than if you call a cab to the hotel or wave on off the street.
i guess if you're going on a budget to visit beirut, this might be worth it, but the cost of getting to and from downtown everyday will make a dent in your wallet... at least $7 per ride just to get to the Solidaire.

The Padova hotel is a very nice choice for a clean, economical stay where the personal service is delivered with a smile. Samir at the front desk was especially helpful, providing great advice on customs and places to go, and even helping to translate directions to our confused Uber driver. The Buffet breakfast was plentiful with a variety of good Lebanese dishes. Room service is provided at any time with reasonable prices and no surcharge. When I needed to meet with some people in private, management went the extra mile to provide a private room and coffee. I conducted a seminar in one of the conference rooms and the service and food was wonderful. There are a restaurants and a mall in walking distance.

The rooms had a balcony even at the 9th floor. Moving in the room was quite difficult due to lack of space. Reaching out to the balcony meant going partially over the bed.
Everything was clean and the rooms were well maintained.
Breakfast was satisfactory though not very rich.

A very comfortable and modern hotel room with good bathroom facilities. Good views over the city, too. The breakfast was excellent with a wide choice. Evening dining also possible. Wifi wasn't too bad, either.
